BREAKING: Hours ago students gathered at the Iowa State Capitol Building and chanted "We Say Gay!" and "Trans rights are human rights!" This comes after Republicans advanced the "Bathroom bill" and are expected to also try and ban gender-affirming health care in the state. Additionally they are trying to ban same-sex marriage in the state as well. Republicans are trying to turn the clock back on progress. (Thanks to Reporting by The Gazette)
