It’s the largest hunger strike in the UK since the 1981 Irish prisoners hunger strike. Their demands are a mix of prison/case-related demands and larger demands: to de-proscribe Pal Action and drop Elbit’s Ministry of Defense contract. The government has yet to respond to their demands or engage with the hunger strikers in any way. As each day passes their health deteriorates exponentially.
