Nine students continue to occupy University Hall at Harvard since yesterday. They say they will stay until their demands, which a student repeats in the video below, are met. (Warning: language)

According to the Harvard Crimson, the students were offered an opportunity to leave without discipline last night, but they refused.

During the ordeal, two deans brought the students Twizzlers and burritos:

Afterward, they acknowledged their demands went unmet, but said “the solidarity demonstrated over the last 24 hours…has forever altered the definition of student mobilization and action on this campus.”

If I were paying $75k a year for my kid to partake in that nonscence, their next semester would be at Burger King University.

@assliken Anyone waiting for me to meet their “demands” if I were in charge

You imagine this cohort of people would at the very least be more eloquent given their education.

Expel them all. When people signed up to go to certain schools, it probably didn’t include blurbs on how to protest or occupy a building because someone doesn’t do something you like. It’s at a ridiculous level now and I’m not certain Universities can recover credibility.

This is hilarious. Without reading ahead I’m guessing they came out in a few hours without achieving anything. ie no demands met. Cuz why would anyone care about their demands?

Haha, yup! 24 hours, some free burritos, and they were done.
