🚨#BREAKING: The Amish have confirmed they have completed their very last tiny home for Western North Carolina victims of Hurricane Helene. This final tiny home is being delivered today to David Hostetter, a Vietnam veteran who lost his home in the storm. GOD BLESS THE AMISH!!!

@matt_vanswol A lot of people in the Amish communities here in Pennsylvania went down to NC to help with rebuilding and recovery. It doesn’t matter if your political and religious beliefs align with theirs or not. The majority of them will help anyone in need.

🎯God Bless the Amish every High School should have an Amish teacher teaching a class on introductory Carpentry Skills. They are the BEST at building get the students involved in helping their communities building tiny homes for the Homeless around them with State support. There is literally NO GOOD REASON for Homelessness to exist with these kind of skills available they need a hand-up more than a hand-out. 🤔You can teach a man to eat fish with a hand-out here and there; but isn't it a far better and more lasting idea to teach the man HOW TO FISH for himself and provide for others around him- Paying forward useful abilities like Building Tiny Homes is a God inspired answer to homelessness!

@matt_vanswol Much respect. Today I'm in Chicago visiting the Griffin Museum of Science & Industry and we must have seen at least 10 Amish Families taking their kids to tour, teach, and learn and they we so well behaved and soaking it up. God bless.

@matt_vanswol They are proof we don't have to agree with each other on everything but helping when it's needed is what matters in this world. Amish are amazing cooks, farmers and master craftsman that should be studied by young kids even if their not Amish they can still learn amazing skills.

@matt_vanswol I feel like the Amish were doing more than just building homes and roads and rebuilding what the government wouldn’t. They were showing us we don’t need the government. We just need to come together and get it done ourselves. We are more powerful and effective than they are.

There was a time, and not too long ago, I remember the Amish did not even want their image taken, or to the recorded in anyway. I am glad to see now that they will contribute information to reporters. Such a Wonderful Contribution they make to our society. We should all take a lesson from their book

@matt_vanswol I am fortunate to live very close to a few Amish communities and they are the nicest most sincere people you will ever meet. I think they may have gotten it right while most Americans make fun of them.
