If there was ever an industry that should never have been privatised and should be bought back into public ownership with immediate effect, it is surely the water industry.

While very welcome, it isn't just the water companies that are polluting our precious water ways. The agricultural industry has a very significant role All polluters must be held accountable, with the polluter pays. That could even apply to the environment agency for its use of herbicide on river banks. Many an ecosystem has been trashed by the above.
