BREAKING: The UN Security Council has passed a resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza during Ramadan. The resolution calls for the release of all hostages on all sides. Russia attempted to put the word "permanent" into the text but the US voted against it.

Ceasefire is good. But also they are building the Dock now, that should be stopped too, it's not for humanitarian aid, it's to deport Palestinians

Just heard the UN Security Council passed a resolution for ceasefire in Gaza during Ramadan. Because apparently, bombing innocent civilians and taking hostages is totally acceptable during any other time of the year. Oh and thanks to Russia and the US for playing tug-of-war with the word "permanent" while people are dying.

The applause for the passing of the UN resolution should go to the people of conscience around the world, who did not give up.
