Earlier this week I was in J&K, every time a security convoy passes on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway (which is throughout the day), vehicles on either side are stopped. Our car was stopped multiple times, abruptly. Clearly Kashmir is more normal than the others! Am sure there are better ways to ensure security for the security personnel than causing inconvenience to locals and tourists.

She said, "Today is July 13, and on this day, 22 Kashmiris sacrificed their lives outside the Central Jail in Srinagar... The base is mainly used to store weapons and equipment before major operations. Three flights from Ramstein and one from the US show a coordinated military movement, not routine logistics, and C-17s are typically used for troops, heavy cargo, or munitions.
