Yesterday - Day three in Rome - I had the pleasure of commissioning Bishop Anthony Ball as the Archbishop of Canterbury’s representative to the Holy See. Bishop Anthony was commissioned in a beautiful choral evensong at the Chiesa di Sant’Ignazio Loyola. The service was full of joy and the hope, and brought together Anglicans, Catholics, Orthodox and many others from across God’s Church. Thank you to His Eminence Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle preached powerfully during the service about our common faith and unity in Jesus Christ.
