Erik Duran, 36, a police sergeant, was part of drug-sting operation in the Bronx when he tried to stop a suspect, Duprey. The officers were attempting to arrest the suspect during an undercover drug purchase when Duprey got on his motorbike and sped away. The graphic video shows Duprey get hit in the head with the cooler, swerve onto the road, lose control of the vehicle and slide under a parked car after he was hit. Trump is now trapped in a court proceeding with limited options to delay, and a judge who has already proved to him that ‘presidents are not kings’. The victim card will hold no sway and if he steps out of line on the conditions of bail, I am confident she WILL hold him to account, so he should tread very carefully. The indictment is a masterful submission which leave’s his defense with a significant challenge. It has legal booby traps around every corner. There is no question, Trump has his back against the wall and his lawyers will have to bring their A game. While the above is a massive win for the rule of law, it presents a clear and present danger that Trump and his surrogates will incite his supporters to intimidate court staff, DOJ staff and witnesses. They ARE prepared to burn down the house to protect him. It may well lead to violence on the streets and for Republican lawmakers to attempt to paralyze government and take the DOJ hostage. JUST IN: Ravens fan turns himself in after going viral for assaulting multiple Washington Commanders fans. 24-year-old John Callis is facing 25 years in prison for the violent assault. Ferrari asks the question the entire country is sick of asking: “Why can’t we just get some of the 11,000 foreign prisoners out of these damn jails? Why have we got 220 people behind bars for motoring offences such as not having insurance?” It’s a damning indictment of warped priorities. While victims and their families continue to suffer stress and grief from soft sentencing and revolving-door justice, we’re locking up people for no insurance and keeping foreign offenders who should have been deported years ago. The solutions have been staring them in the face from the start: deport the foreign criminals and stop wasting precious prison space on minor motoring cases.
