Virginia gun restrictions (Aug 2026): Assault firearms + >15-rd mags: New sale/transfer ban (grandfathered possession). Age 21 to buy handguns/assault firearms. Background checks required for private sales. Safe storage required with minors or in vehicles. Open carry OK (no permit); concealed needs permit. Restricted in schools, courts, etc. And none of that stopped a damn thing. How about we repeal all gun laws and allow ppl who are not looking to harm others defend themselves?
