This is why we shouldn't stop with any part of our vehicle on or within 9' of railroad tracks. If the vehicle has broken down on the tracks, the crossing gates contain a phone number to call to alert the rail line of the emergency so they can stop approaching trains.

High visibility intersection, straight line, but looks like railroad is higher than either side. I'm wondering if the truck just got stuck on the raised paved railroad section, as sometimes happens with those very long loads.

The train crashing into a semi truck did not trigger a major accident. A semi truck was on the tracks where it should not have been it caused the crash.

That is like watching Kamala in her last days of her campaign.
