Florida Public School are assigning homework to kids that have them using old Archaic words that are no longer used in English You would look at this homework and honestly think these are fake words being taught to kids There has to be better things we couldn’t be teaching our kids in public schools other than words that don’t even exist in our language anymore Example, the word Hatest. This was used during biblical and archaic time. It was used in sentences like “Thou hatest what I love.” We have to do better

This is how far the water came up on the beach the last couple of days in Newport Beach. 😳 Look at how far away the ocean is. 🤯 In 2018 and 2019 the water reached all the way to the streets causing flooding during high and king tide events. Many people have stated that they think beaches should be closed when conditions like this are present. Others say they shouldn’t close them just because some people don’t listen to the warnings. I love the beach but I wouldn’t want to be there if riptides and swells like these were happening. I certainly wouldn’t have my young children there. What do you think? Do you think beaches should be closed to the public when conditions are present like this? Or do you think that should be up to each individual whether or not they want to access the beach at times like these?

Forcing kids to read things they hate just simply doesn’t work. Our reading philosophy at Alpha is simple: kids learn to love reading by reading what they love. Sure, it’s important for kids to be exposed to classic literature. But being forced to read highbrow literature as a young teen is often the very thing that makes kids hate reading in the first place. Many of them never bother picking up a novel again. If the goal is to have students fall in love with reading and become life-long readers, then we should cater the material to their interests. Whether it’s comic-books, books about insects, or a biography on the Kardashians, there has to be a better way. We built our own app called Teach Tales to solve this problem.

I graduated at the University Charlie Kirk was killed at. I was present during the shooting. There are so many echo chambers currently of guessing what happened. I know that school well, it's easy to get access to those higher rooftop points. They did not screen anyone, it was also a bad spot to put Charlie in, but all his presentations have been outdoors. Plenty of police on site and there were 20 guys with M16's running past me in 15 minutes from the shooting because they did not catch the shooter. I don't think they will catch the shooter, and eventually they will pin it on some degen low life guy. My heart goes out to his wife and kids that were there and the thousands of students that had to experience a traumatizing experience. From my quants who are the smartest in this area thinks it's Israel or CIA.

What hangs on with me is the pattern of children see something, adults can’t explain it or refuse to, authority moves in to normalize things, and the event gets labeled as imagination. Driving through Aurora, Colorado today reminded me of the times I lived in South America on and off for around 6 years. Often the people that walk around selling in or cleaning windows in traffic are aggressive, forceful, and pose as threats to passengers. First of all we have windshield wipers!! Secondly we don't need people looking through our windows to see what they can find coercing people for all the spare cash they have. In Latin America this is normal everywhere. Random people charging you for parking in public space, to sit down to eat at a restaurant they send in their kids to guilt you, or like this at a stop light, to be safe we have to pay them? This behavior isn't a favor or honest work, its a "pay me not to rob you," kind of deal.

They are bracing for a potentially difficult week ahead. So they try to share only good vibes. They remind each other not to be negative, not to gossip. They greet each other with extra warmth. It's very touching. Jews from all over have flown in, one told me, "I felt I should be here, now more than ever." People are on edge but resolute that things will work out for the best. Whether you are a random person on X or Elon Musk, I urge you all to please read this post and stop using videos like this one to claim that Biden has an "open border policy": #1) The people in this video are already on American soil. The agents have a few options here. Detain them behind the razor wire or detain them in front of it, let the children cut themselves on razor wire or make sure they don't get cut. #2) In May President Biden issued an "asylum ban" which barred migrants from applying for humanitarian protection if they cross the border against the law or fail to first apply for safe harbor while crossing through another country on the way to the U.S. The US COURTS OVERTURNED IT. Biden also requested $3.5B for more border patrol agents and judges and lawyers. Republicans refused. #3) Let me explain to you all why the people in this video can't simply be put on a truck and driven back into Mexico and dropped off: a - They have a right to due process according to our Constitution. b - There are international laws indicating that we can't just drop people off from Honduras or Cuba or any other nation into Mexico. What if one of these people claimed they were from Canada? Should we drop them in Canada? c - How do we immediately prove that a person is not an American, or an Italian, or a Brazilian if they claim they are? Stop pretending that Biden isn't doing anything.
