I see no reason why Nigeria should cut ties with Niger Republic simply because of a military coup. What does the coup have to do with us? Nigeria and Niger are closely connected peoples, and a military takeover should not be a reason to isolate Niger from ECOWAS. I will work to rebuild trust and understanding with Niger, Burkina Faso and Mali and support their return to ECOWAS. This is funny but not so funny. Nigeria will perish into the abyss if Christians, moderate Muslims and people of other faiths fail to band together and come up with a solid plan to resist the blanket Islamization of Nigeria.
