Today, Hon. Adrian Dix, Minister of Energy and Climate Solutions, announced that the Province plans to roll out new legislation in spring 2025. This will give the BC Energy Regulator (BCER) the authority to oversee renewable energy projects like wind and solar. This new legislation will help accelerate renewable energy projects across the province and support the critical initiatives we are taking here at BC Hydro to meet the growing demand for renewable electricity. NO NEW solar, wind or hybrid renewable energy projects will be allowed within 1 km of the International Border, LoC or LAC 🤯 Areas up to 50 km have been classified as sensitive. > Every such project will now require MANDATORY security clearance from the Ministry of Home Affairs. Projects within 20 km of the International Border will additionally need a No-Objection Certificate from the Ministry of Defence. Engineers, staff or labour from China, Bangladesh and Pakistan cannot be engaged without prior Central Govt permission. Developers must install comprehensive security infrastructure, including anti-drone systems, at their own cost. These will be operated by CISF or state police.

Trump: I will not be abandoning the farmers. We are strong on the borders and for the farmers and others in the hotel industry. We have similar situations and Kristi and I will be working with the states and we will work something where the farmers and be responsible. They have had people around for 10 or 15 years and they know them well, we will put them responsible, and issue a form of card or documents and the farmer will be responsible for these people. They will not have citizenship but they will be working and paying taxes. We need to get our farmers the people they need or else the farmers will not be able to do their land. It was tried when there was a very strong guy, and he got everybody out, and every farm almost in the country but every farm in California or Iowa went bankrupt and they had nobody to work and we do not want that situation. We will put our farmers and others in charge of the people that they have under them. They know the people and it will work out well. We will take care of our farmer but to get the criminals out. Premiers have confidence in Mark Carney and that his trade deals will put us in a position of strength negotiating with America. Praised by Alberta Premier Danielle Smith: "Americans have perceived us as being weak. I mean, you hear it. They think that our economy will collapse if we don't come to a, to an agreement. The Prime Minister has spent the, the last year or, and a bit doing, is setting up new trade negotiations, new trade partnerships. He's got 20 additional trade relationships that represent a market of 3 billion people. And every time I meet with a new ambassador, they know who Canada is, they know what we have to offer, and they know, especially whether it's energy or critical minerals, or or food products, they know those are the kind of products they want. So, that goes into a negotiation from a position of strength." The thing is that they are mostly MOUs and it will take us another 10 years to build new export capacities if we start building today which we are not, while adding new red tape. Canada will need to add another $1T in debt by then to sustain and build things with no way to pay for it.

No projects will be built in Canada until we increase red tape and taxes on our own industries and line up the pockets of First Nations 🤦🏼 Mark Carney: "For a pipeline to be built the industrial carbon tax has to be on this path to increase in Alberta. There has to the Pathways Project. There has to be methane... What this government has been absolutely clear is that it is full Indigenous participation in these major projects...but also ownership that we will help fund." The Liberals have created the stupidest conditions out there for our economy and how this is viewed as rational or acceptable is beyond me. Also, "WE" should not be funding a selected group of people no ownership of major projects. It's either ownership for all of Canada or nothing. Our prosperity shouldn't be based on First Nations hissy fits.

David Eby's whole premises of being against an oil pipeline from Alberta to British Columbia's coast is that First Nations might throw a hissy fit and then be against all the other projects happening on the coast (LNG). "The threat to these projects (LNG) is that coastal First Nations saying that if you lift the tanker ban we will no longer support these projects, we don't even like them in the first place." Complete bs. First of all, many of the actual coastal First Nations are a part of these projects as they get billions in backing to buy in. Second of all, the prosperity of Canada will not be held back by a few villages that need taxpayer dollars to live off. Thirdly, the tankers are not going down the coast of BC but leaving for Asia

We acknowledge what other leaders are doing to bring change in Kenya. In remembrance of our fallen and standing heroes, we will support every effort in our shared vision of a new Kenya. On 20th Mashujaa Day we will be in Narok for a symbolic cleanup. The meeting point will be communicated. To those who have asked for urgent street protests against the ills of this government, i agree with you. However, I urge you to remember the need to build momentum before you engage. Civic Education is still needed in 70% of our nation for a national consensus on the change we want. This struggle is for all of us. It should not be left to the youthful GenZ or the people in towns and cities. We need everyone on board. #FagiaKwako
