Prediction: At some point during our next federal election China will drop their tariffs and credit Mark Carney's statesmanship and diplomacy for negotiating a deal. Our State media will hail Carney as a Canadian hero and the only politician capable of navigating our trade war with America. A lot of Canadians will gobble this up.
