Mabirizi now faces charges of broadcasting without a license and publishing false information about Chief Justice Flavian Zeija. He declined to take plea on the new charges and requested the recusal of Chief Magistrate Ritah Neumbe Kidasa at Buganda Road Court. He has been remanded to Luzira Prison until April 15, 2026. DJ Warras murder case postponed as suspect faces premeditated murder charge Victor Mthethwa Majola has been charged with the premeditated murder of popular DJ and media personality Warrick “DJ Warras” Stock, who was shot and killed in Johannesburg earlier this month. Majola appeared in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court, where the case was postponed to 6 January 2026 for a formal bail application, which the State will oppose. He will remain in custody, while charges against a second suspect have been provisionally withdrawn as investigations continue.
