The group has been on remand since August 1, 2025. Magistrate Sylvia Muwonge has sent them back to Luzira Prison, with sentencing set for April 17. However, their lawyer Samuel Wandera criticises the delay in sentencing, noting that some of the accused are students who have missed their studies at various universities.
