Brett Meiselas: "We've been speaking about Donald Trump's distractions by doing these big events, the kind of idea of bread and circuses. But he seems to be forgetting the bread part because people are having trouble eating — certainly plenty of circuses to distract."

One of the Instagram followers sent this in. I’ve heard people say this before. That old saying “give them bread and circuses to keep them distracted”.

"It's one of the most shocking things to me that people insist on living to support this man and these heinous actions, knowing that it could all go away in a second — and that's how you're going to be remembered." Brett Meiselas on Lindsey Graham torpedoing his legacy to be Donald Trump's lapdog.

Brett Meiselas: "I don't think people fully understand the extent to which the American people are propagandized, not only by Donald Trump, but by our media. You have those channels that both sides everything and give credence to Donald Trump's words. Then you have the Newsmax, the OAN, the Fox, that are just straight state-regime television. And then you have this army of influencers and the oligarchs who pump them up to just constantly stoke division and spread lies that end up reaching people."

Brett Meiselas on opposition to AI data centers: "It is really the clearest and most physical representation right now of the class divide in our country, of what billionaires are doing and what billionaires want to force on the people, and what the people actually want."

🎪 In 1991, the 39th annual Bilderberg meeting was held in Baden-Baden, Germany. You probably never heard about it because you are being distracted by 'bread and circuses.' 🎪 Listen to what Bill Cooper reveals.

Meiselas: Take a look at Donald Trump's schedule today, and all of his events are closed to the press ... Now, we all know that Donald Trump doesn't do policy meetings, given his deteriorating health. (wow, that's a lot of naps)

What are the chances, eh? Pity the poor RTÉ sports commentators who have to pretend the weird occult photo of Messi and Yamal (the immigrant hero!) is just a coincidence. The bread and circuses distraction has never been more in our faces.

Ben Meiselas: "These people have names, by the way. Pvt. Isabella Gonzales, 19 years old. She's from Texas. 1st Lt. Tyler Freehan, 25, of Hawaii ... 19 years, 25 years, cut short because of Donald Trump's inability to do a deal, his jealousy of Obama, and because we have a deranged psychopath [in the White House]."

We are in the middle of a Right-wing Revolution, especially among the youth of Europe! The days of “Fridays for Future” are over. NOW THE FUTURE IS OURS. We reject the degeneracy of our culture into Neomarxism. Bread and Circuses are in the past - WELCOME TO REALITY!

Brett Meiselas: These people are just the gaslighters of the highest order. They create these fictional worlds to try to distract from the problems that they created. The entire world is in turmoil. We're at war. Farmers are getting absolutely crushed — "Kamala Harris would have killed you if you let her in. So you should be happy with your scraps."

"You managed to con 30% of our population who love being treated like absolute shit. I don't understand it, but that's your superpower. The rest of the country, the 70% of people who are the real silent majority, who now get louder and louder, need to stop this fascist crap." Ben Meiselas reacts to Donald Trump's divisive speech at Mt. Rushmore.

Brett Meiselas on the supercharging of the Trump family grift during Donald Trump's second term: They kind of realized, "Oh, we could get away with all this stuff, the grift we could get if we just have a slightly lower profile and we aren't out there in the White House every day, we aren't at the press briefings, we aren't at the events."

Brett Meiselas: "Donald Trump, he referred to himself as 'the King of Debt.' He's actually always proven that true. Trump is responsible for something like 25% of all the debt ever accrued in the United States since the beginning of the history of the United States—quite the achievement of Donald."

Ben Meiselas: People want competent leaders who can hear what the people are experiencing — none of these con artists. Bob Brooks for Congress: That's all I think I want to do is bring common sense, working-class people's problems to Washington, DC. Because right now, we don't believe we're being thought of or cared about ... I've kind of lived the life that a lot of them are living right now.
