Very late stage kidney failure. The finality of It is like a punch to the stomach. I rescued him from the streets 18 months ago. The damage had been done to him from neglect over the years. His health is going down so fast I wanted to take a short walk with him in the sun. I’m hoping it won’t be our last just yet but the steps were not easy. 🥲
