Have children grown more easily frightened since I was young? I was not scared by the pink elephants sequence and, in fact, it was my favorite part of the movie.

Jokes aside I think kids need scary PSAs, kids need a bit of fear in them to keep them safe

Not gonna lie, this did actually scared as a kid and it was only the part when the heads of the Pink Elephants forms into a conglomerate of heads as a 3 headed giant. I always look away from that. Now as an adult, its just a weird trip.

This never gives me a nightmare as kids, I really enjoyed this sequence, it's fun and creative.

This never gave me nightmares....but I DO think it was part of the reason I decided to never drink as an adult

This was actualy my favorite scene in this movie as a kid and is what made me want to get into animation.

I still don't get it why kids had nightmares about this sequence. When I watched I didn't though it was scary, I thought it was interesting. The colors, the sounds, the elephants playing joyfully 🐘
