Knowing that more CVs were rooting for LA to end up with Savanna already feels like a win to me. Because between the two, LA's is the one who truly loved her... Vic loved Savanna for her potential.. When she changed herself to fit his standards...But even then.. he cant fully accept the weight of her past... LA, on the other hand, loved all of her. He loved her at her best, at her worst, and through all the messy, complicated parts in between. Not because she was polished. Not because she was perfect. But because she was Savanna. He didn't walk away because he stopped loving her. If anything, he walked away because he loved her too much...to the point that he wanted to protect her... even from himself. Was it the right decision? Probably not. But there's a difference between making the wrong choice because you stopped loving someone... and making the wrong choice because you loved them so deeply that you convinced yourself they'd be better off without you. That's why I wasn't surprised to see more CVs rooting for LA. His storyline wasn't hard to root for at all. Audiences don't always go for the one who gets the happy ending. They always have a soft spot for the one who never made them question whether his love was real. Savanna may have chosen no one... But somewhere along the way... I had my doubts whether Shizuru actually had feelings for Goh, but this episode made it crystal clear. He was her crush, not simply because he was tall and handsome and cool, but because he inspired her to become a sniper who never misses. She was awful at shooting at first and yet she pushed herself and became excellent at it because of him. I think her feelings for him grew steadily over time and just before she could ever confess, he got married. That must have been heartbreaking for her. I didn’t like how harshly she treated Anna, but watching her overcome her jealousy and sincerely accept Goh and Anna’s relationship made me truly love her character.

Yet people were so cruel and disgusting that they reduced the whole situation to “she was offering her body for him.” Meanwhile, he literally saw her shaking from fear while she was taking off her robe. And before she even said anything, he told her “yapma” in that tone because he understood what was happening. He saw her desperation! And I will keep saying this forever!!
