British hospitals are the worst. ☀️Summer: no air-con & windows restricted to opening no more than 10cm, leading to searingly hot temps. ❄️ Winter: windows kept closed to avoid drafts so no natural (or mechanical) ventilation, allowing airborne viruses to spread like wildfire.
What a joke! We have tile roofs in the yoookay to reflect both heat and rain. We don't need AC as it's very seldom needed. We have things called fans - which moves the air around, creating a cooler feeling.

The only dangerous thing is the mainstream media. Spouting fear porn propaganda. Britain gets a few days of sunny, hot summer sunshine, and you lot have us all dropping like flies. Yes, the elderly need to be cautious with the hotter weather. The council and housing associations can install air conditioners in homes for them, and dramatically cut the cost of heating their home in the winter, as it should be.

The question is, what is really causing this? Ice core data consistently shows rises in atmospheric CO2 FOLLOW temperature increases, by between 200-800 years. The Medieval Warm Period lasted from 950-1250 AD. Modern CO2 increase started in the late 1700s.

The generations before the open all hours culture had time to notice the natural cycles, town streets and squares were lined with tall broad leaf trees. buildings had large windows letting in light and heat in the winter and opened up to allow a through air flow in summer.
Installing air conditioning everywhere, not just care homes. We should become like Singapore and Japan.
