This is very poor from both. I can understand that podcaster whose exposure and knowledge is quite limited, but Sumanth is just pandering here. Every director has a style. I personally love Rajamouli's loud, extravagant, thumping style. Nolan also used to do high-tech, kick-ass style a decade back. But over the years, he moved onto more dramatic, nuanced portrayals (peaking with Oppenheimer) even on a huge canvas. In Odyssey, Nolan didn't even focus on monsters, Gods much - and only focused on characters. That's his take. No need to masalify everything and not every setup scene requires loud BGM, slow-motion staging. May be Telugu audience do have a "excessive masala film" hangover.
