Hasan defends his initial takes about Russia (will not invade, Crimea annexation) "Identical to Barack Hussein Obama, I'm willing to be this person loves Barack Hussein Obama..Zelensky literally begged ppl to stop saying an invasion was coming..so u agree with me..I don't agree with the NATO expansion part but ya his final conclusion is like ya, America found itself on the right side morally of a conflict for the worst possible reasons, that's my position" "So many of these mofos literally will be like, I actually don't like Hasan bc he's pro Russia and then they will literally talk through their perspective" "There's a significant difference between the annexation of Crimea, u might have a disagreement with it..I think it is perfectly valid to have a disagreement with the annexation of any f'in territory that doesn't belong to u..I don't think it is the appropriate thing for Russia to do, I think it was illegal" "But if u can't see the difference between the annexation of Crimea, which was allowed by the Barrack Obama administration, ironically enough, versus what the Russia irredentist action in eastern Ukraine looks like, idk what to tell u, that's a very different situation" "Once George W Bush, that f'in demon on his way out decided to come out and say we should bring Georgia and Ukraine into NATO..ofc it was shortly thereafter that Vladimir Putin was like alright well I have to take a piece of f'in territory from Georgia to ensure that no such NATO expansion ever exists" "Ur presenting a through line between a time period where f'in Ukraine was also a part of the USSR to Vladimir Putin, ur making it seem like he russified Crimea"

Elon Musk Elon Musk talks with Joe Rogan on the line between freedom and abuse of expression: Elon: Growing up when I was a kid, there was a transgender woman in South Africa. This was like where, you know, she'd get beaten up a lot because it was like back then you'd get beaten up. So, her name was Dionne, and she was a nice, kind human being and helped my mom a lot, you know, and I think that's okay, you know, that's fine. If somebody wants to make that choice as an adult, that's cool. Joe: There's a big difference between that and an intact male who wants to identify as a woman who wants to walk around the locker room with his d*ck out. Elon: Yes, exactly. So you just kind of have something which is like a, like I said, a sort of moral invulnerability or like where you can know, like even questioning them is you get attacked, you know, because obviously bad people will abuse that. Joe: Well, that's when I got thrown into this whole thing because there was a fighter who was a biological man who became transgender and was competing against women without telling them that they were a biological man. They said they didn't have to tell people because it was a medical condition. No, that's not what it is. You can't say that, and of all sports, like if someone scores more points in basketball, well, that's unfair. But if someone beats the f**k out of someone because they're lying about being a biological male, that's crazy. You're literally allowing someone to get brain damage because you want to appeal to the woke f**king crazy people. It's wrong.”

This 1 minute Dan Zanger clip changed my life when I fully HEARD its power. "Biggest lesson was to not be in the market all the time and to trade far less than I do." "Market may have two big moves during the year. They may last 6, 8, 10, 12 weeks... other than that they just exhaust themselves." "Just trade out then go golf, swimming, go to cash, just have fun and enjoy and wait for everything to set up and do it again." You ever see White Men Can't Jump? When Woody Harrelson puts on Jimi Hendrix and Wesley Snipes says, "No no no. There's a difference between HEARING and LISTENING. White people can't HEAR Jimi, yall just LISTEN." I have found that most traders LISTEN to Zanger but they don't HEAR him. There is nothing more difficult than changing your day to day market behavior on a dime after months of activity giving you overtly positive feedback. With today's follow through selling, it's clear the environment has drastically changed in a week's time. I constantly work on my mental state and the goal is to never have PnL effect your life outside trading. Unfortunately, I am a simple Neanderthal and I am happy when I win and angry when I lose. So I tirelessly work on myself to understand when I win and how to avoid losing. So I push push push risk when I'm hot and have unbelievable market feedback and traction. Then I completely stop when that changes. I can only do this, because I have NOT done it so many times in my career and the emotional pitfalls of giving so much PnL back FORCED me to change the behavior.

Dire Straits 🎼Romeo and Juliet (Live)🎵 (One of the greatest love songs ever written.)❤️ A lovestruck Romeo sang the streets a serenade Laying everybody low with a love song that he made Finds a streetlight, steps out of the shade Says something like, "you and me, babe, how about it?" Juliet says, "hey, it's Romeo, you nearly gave me a heart attack" He's underneath the window, she's singing, "hey, la, my boyfriend's back You shouldn't come around here singing up at people like that Anyway, what you gonna do about it?" "Juliet, the dice was loaded from the start And I bet, and you exploded into my heart And I forget, I forget the movie song When you gonna realize it was just that the time was wrong, Juliet?" Come up on different streets, they both were streets of shame Both dirty, both mean, yes, and the dream was just the same And I dreamed your dream for you and now your dream is real How can you look at me as if I was just another one of your deals? When you can fall for chains of silver you can fall for chains of gold You can fall for pretty strangers and the promises they hold You promised me everything, you promised me thick and thin, yeah Now you just say "oh, Romeo, yeah, you know I used to have a scene with him" "Juliet, when we made love, you used to cry You said 'I love you like the stars above, I'll love you 'til I die' There's a place for us, you know the movie song When you gonna realize it was just that the time was wrong, Juliet?" I can't do the talks like they talk on the TV And I can't do a love song like the way it's meant to be I can't do everything but I'll do anything for you I can't do anything except be in love with you And all I do is miss you and the way we used to be All I do is keep the beat, the bad company All I do is kiss you through the bars of a rhyme Julie, I'd do the stars with you any time "Juliet, when we made love you used to cry You said 'I love you like the stars above, I'll love you 'til I die' There's a place for us you know the movie song When you gonna realize it was just that the time was wrong, Juliet?" And a lovestruck Romeo, he sang the streets a serenade Laying everybody low with a love song that he made Find a convenient streetlight, steps out of the shade He says something like, "you and me, babe, how about it?" "You and me, babe, how about it?"

"Greed makes markets." Annanay Kapila (ak0) spent years as an HFT quant at Flow Traders and Tower Research before founding QFEX (QFEX), a perpetual futures exchange for equities, commodities & FX. Cambridge Maths. At his last job, the desk traded $10B+ of volume a day, run almost entirely by algorithms. In this lecture, he builds market making from first principles: - The map of systematic trading: prop money vs. other people's money, HFT vs. mid-frequency, and why every strategy lives in one quadrant - Why prop firms can return 50-100% a year while hedge funds can't: HFT never leaves you holding a big position - The order book from scratch: bids, offers, limit orders, and why the first order on a price level gets the trade - No free lunch: how arbitrageurs force every order book to reveal a fair price without anyone trying to - The entire strategy in one line: bid below fair value, offer above it, collect the difference forever - Market making is "time-spreading risk," warehousing positions between a seller who shows up now and a buyer who shows up later - Adverse selection: you're most likely to get filled precisely when your price is most wrong - Why market makers are completely self-serving, and why that's exactly what makes markets work - The competitive race that compresses spreads: greed among market makers means lower costs for everyone else - Thick books vs. thin books, and the vicious loop that keeps illiquid markets illiquid Highlights: (00:45) The systematic trading map: capital vs speed (01:45) Prop firms vs hedge funds: return-on-capital economics (06:29) A message from Onyx (07:55) Where market making sits: high-Sharpe prop HFT (08:55) Fungibility and why exchanges exist (11:00) How a central limit order book actually works (17:40) No free lunch: arbitrage-free pricing in the book (19:55) Theo: reading fair value from the mid (22:45) Who really posts the book (not retail) (24:35) Market making as warehousing risk across time (27:20) Edge: quoting around your fair value (29:45) Queue priority and the adverse selection problem (33:05) How competition compresses the bid-offer spread (37:40) Thick vs thin books: liquidity begets liquidity (43:55) Scaling to $10B a day on algorithms

Salmonella Sussex Judging MasterChef Australia: 18 Seasons of Blood, Sweat, and Tears Reduced to This Farce Meghan Markle, better known as “Salmonella Sussex,” is stepping into the MasterChef Australia kitchen as a guest judge in Season 18. Let that sink in. Eighteen seasons. Nearly two decades of contestants pouring their souls into dishes, sweating under the heat of real culinary pressure, judged by people who have spent their lives mastering knives, fire and flavor. And now the producers have decided the pinnacle of what this show stands for is a woman whose most notable recent contribution to the food world nearly witnessed salmonella poisoning on camera. You’re bringing in Meghan Markle as a guest judge. Based on what, exactly? This is the same person whose own content shows questionable food handling, basic kitchen mistakes, and more focus on aesthetics than actual cooking. Raw, uncovered chicken in the fridge. Jewellery while handling raw meat. No clear understanding of canning basics. A “homemade” waffle that didn’t even match the appliance used. And that’s who gets to judge others? The internet didn’t forget. They dubbed her “Salmonella Sussex” for a reason. Food safety 101: raw poultry is a bacterial minefield. But here we are. The same woman whose “passionate foodie” credentials apparently now qualify her to critique Australia’s best home cooks on national television. Let’s be brutally clear about what she brings to the table. Zero professional kitchen experience. Zero formal training. Zero track record as a food critic, restaurateur, or even a consistently competent home cook with public proof. After eighteen years of featuring respected chefs like Maggie Beer, Curtis Stone, Rick Stein, and Adriano Zumbo, MasterChef Australia has decided Salmonella Sussex is the standard. What a shame. The regular judges, Poh Ling Yeow, Sofia Levin, and Jean-Christophe Novelli are actual professionals with decades of real work behind them. The contestants are home cooks who have bled for their spot. And into that arena walks a woman who couldn’t even handle raw turkey without raising red flags from food safety experts. This isn’t inclusion or diversity or whatever buzzword the network is hiding behind. This is desperation. This is what happens when a show that built its reputation on merit and grit decides celebrity name-dropping and royal-adjacent drama are more important than integrity. MasterChef Australia didn’t need this. The show has survived on talent, tension, and the raw emotion of people chasing a dream through food. It didn’t need to import a walking PR exercise whose biggest kitchen moment to date involved a hygiene fail so bad it spawned a viral nickname. The contestants deserve judges who can actually taste the difference between ambition and execution, not someone whose expertise stops at Instagram Stories and paid product placements. Eighteen seasons in, and the standard is Salmonella Sussex. That’s embarrassment. The producers should be ashamed. The audience that has stuck with this show through thick and thin deserves better than a guest judge whose only real qualification is a title she loves to use when it suits her and distance herself from when it doesn’t. This isn’t mentoring. This is marketing. And it cheapens every single plate that’s ever been served in that kitchen.

🚨 Donate urgently to feed families in Gaza 🚨 Donate now: Tonight in Gaza… Some parents have had to make the hardest decision any mother or father could ever face: Which child will eat first… because there simply isn’t enough food for everyone. At Project Mohammed, we distributed simple meals of rice and meat to displaced families. For many children… it was not lunch. It was the only food they would receive today. Some held their plates with both hands… eating slowly… as if trying to make every bite last a little longer. But hunger always returns. And each day, it comes back even more cruel than the day before. The reality has become more heartbreaking than ever. There is less food today than yesterday. There are fewer donations than last week. And thousands of families are approaching the moment when they will have absolutely nothing left to cook. 💔 Children are no longer asking for toys. They ask, “Is there anything to eat?” 💔 Mothers tell their children, “I’m not hungry.” while their own stomachs have been empty for days. 💔 Fathers leave their tents pretending to search for food… simply because they cannot bear watching their children cry from hunger. Tonight… many families will go to sleep with nothing to eat. Not because they chose to. But because there is nothing left to cook. In Gaza today… a small plate of rice with a few pieces of meat is no longer just a meal. It has become the thin line between a child having the strength to wake up tomorrow… or growing weaker as hunger takes its toll. Every donation becomes a meal. Every meal gives a child another chance to survive. 🤍 Deep thanks to everyone standing with Gaza: Eyup (Eyup Lovely) Felix (GoliathFan1952) William Menaker (Will 🦥 Menaker) Thomas (@iwasnevrhere_) Please don’t let this post pass without making a difference. Share it with others. Your voice can reach people we never could. Your donation could put food into the hands of a hungry family. Every share gives this appeal another chance to reach someone willing to help. Every donation becomes a meal. Every meal reminds a family in Gaza that they have not been forgotten. 👉 Donate now:

Microsoft just lost $357 billion in a single day... While Meta gained $170 billion. Both companies are spending over $100 billion on AI this year. One got punished. One got rewarded. The difference tells you everything about where this market is heading: Microsoft reported Wednesday. Beat on revenue. Beat on earnings. Revenue up 17%. EPS up 24%. But the stock dropped 10% - worst decline since March 2020. Why? Azure cloud growth came in at 39%. The Street wanted 39.4%. A miss of 0.4 percentage points erased a third of a trillion dollars. Meanwhile, capex jumped 89% year-over-year to $37.5B in a single quarter. CFO Amy Hood admitted two-thirds went to "short-lived assets" - GPUs that depreciate fast. And Microsoft also said they'll remain "capacity constrained through at least the end of our fiscal year." In other words: "We're spending $72B in six months and STILL can't build data centers fast enough." But that's not the real problem... The real problem is what's happening inside Microsoft's spending. They're not just building infrastructure for Azure customers. They're allocating scarce GPUs to their own products: M365 Copilot, GitHub Copilot, internal R&D. Hood said they must "balance Azure revenue growth with growing needs across first-party apps and AI solutions." Microsoft is competing with its own cloud customers for compute capacity. If they'd allocated all new GPUs to Azure, growth would've exceeded 40%. Instead, they're betting their own AI products will generate more value than selling raw compute. That bet hasn't paid off yet. And 45% of their $625B backlog is tied to ONE customer: OpenAI. Now compare that to Meta: Revenue beat. Earnings beat. Guidance crushed expectations. And they announced $115-135B in AI capex for 2026 - nearly DOUBLE what they spent in 2025. The stock surged 10%. Why the opposite reaction? Meta is seeing immediate returns. Ad impressions up 18%. Average price per ad up 6%. Revenue up 24% year-over-year. Their AI investment is already showing up in the core business TODAY. Better ad targeting. Better recommendations. Better engagement. Q1 revenue guidance came in at $53.5-56.5B - Wall Street expected $51.4B. That's 30% revenue growth ACCELERATION. When you have 3.58B daily active users, AI improvements compound immediately. Zuckerberg called it a "major AI acceleration" and Wall Street didn't care about the $135B spending number. Because they can SEE the connection between spending and revenue. Here's what matters: The hyperscalers are now spending over $600B combined on AI infrastructure in 2026. AI assets depreciate at roughly 20% per year. The five hyperscalers face annual depreciation expenses approaching $400B - MORE than their combined profits in 2025. This is the biggest capital spending cycle in history. And we just entered Phase 3, where AI-enabled revenue models must finally prove their worth. The market stopped rewarding spending. It's rewarding RETURNS. Meta showed returns. Microsoft showed constraints and margin compression. That's why we saw a $527B swing between two companies reporting on the same day. My read: The easy money in the AI trade is over. From here, execution matters more than ambition. Companies that can turn infrastructure spending into measurable productivity gains get rewarded. Companies still building without clear payback get punished - even when they beat estimates. Microsoft isn't a bad company. It's a company that bet big on AI infrastructure and is now scrambling to show ROI before margins collapse further. Meta isn't necessarily a better AI company. It just has a business model where AI improvements translate directly to revenue growth. For investors, the lesson is clear: The AI infrastructure phase is maturing. Winners from here will be companies with clear paths from spending to earnings. Not companies asking you to trust the process while margins compress.
