Work in progress, but this is so fucking cool I just have to share.. I'm moving the entire CSS pipeline off the main thread in Ladybird. This allows us to animate any CSS properties we want and they just keep going smoothly despite heavy JS execution! Video demo is animating a bunch of flex and grid layouts while JS churns on the main thread. Same demo in Chrome for comparison. Welcome to the future, bros 😎

🟢 News: GPU compute in the browser is finally real. WebGPU now ships by default in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge—not a polyfill, not behind a flag. You can run LLMs client-side. Transformers.js and ONNX Runtime already ship WebGPU backends. Eight years of spec work. No more asterisks. 🔗 #WebGPU #GPU #Chrome #Safari #Firefox #Edge

100% css 0% javascript Pretty cool that you can run animations like this now off the main thread, was always a worry implementing a scroll animation knowing some users might see "jank" Safari and Firefox are sleeping far too long, scroll driven animations are awesome

I moved CSS transform and opacity animations off the main thread in Ladybird and I just love it so much 🤩 Now we can chew on all that JS framework bloat while elements fade in and fly around smoothly!

we just added Apple Pay support in Chrome and non-Safari browsers on Dodo Payments. you can now use Apple Pay on desktop too. it opens a QR popup, you scan it with your iPhone, and pay. no Safari required. most payment providers still haven't shipped this. they're stuck on older Apple Pay versions that only work in Safari. we updated to the latest spec and built the cross-browser flow from scratch. this is live now for all merchants. no integration changes needed.

you can create a sticky navbar that morphs when you scroll with pure CSS, no JS or animation libraries required 𝚑𝚎𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚛 { 𝚌𝚘𝚗𝚝𝚊𝚒𝚗𝚎𝚛-𝚝𝚢𝚙𝚎: 𝚜𝚌𝚛𝚘𝚕𝚕-𝚜𝚝𝚊𝚝𝚎; 𝚙𝚘𝚜𝚒𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗: 𝚜𝚝𝚒𝚌𝚔𝚢; 𝚝𝚘𝚙: 𝟶; } @𝚌𝚘𝚗𝚝𝚊𝚒𝚗𝚎𝚛 𝚜𝚌𝚛𝚘𝚕𝚕-𝚜𝚝𝚊𝚝𝚎(𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚌𝚔: 𝚝𝚘𝚙) { .𝚗𝚊𝚟-𝚋𝚊𝚛 { 𝚖𝚊𝚡-𝚠𝚒𝚍𝚝𝚑: 𝟻𝟼𝚛𝚎𝚖; 𝚋𝚘𝚛𝚍𝚎𝚛-𝚛𝚊𝚍𝚒𝚞𝚜: 𝟶.𝟽𝟻𝚛𝚎𝚖; 𝚋𝚊𝚌𝚔𝚐𝚛𝚘𝚞𝚗𝚍: 𝚛𝚐𝚋(𝟸𝟻𝟻 𝟸𝟻𝟻 𝟸𝟻𝟻 / 𝟶.𝟿𝟸); } } the browser now knows when a sticky element is stuck, all triggered by one container query available only in chromium browsers only, no firefox or safari which is a shame

Why is this plaza in front of the restored Counting House always cordoned off? And why is The Counting House still vacant? On South Main St the work was completed in 2021 What a lovely public space it should be along the historic core of Cork City #VacantIreland #DerelictIreland

Evangelion Internet POV: Dashboard Early work in progress for Contra x Rive HMI Challenge Core concept here is interactive 3D data hub that we can use to pin specific information, interface is spatial meaning there is no typical top-down / left-right structure, allowing the UI to rotate freely

I’m just gonna leave some links in the comments to my work here. Help me move on from this corporate grind so I can do a daily writing grind. Pretty please. Today was a rough day at work. Like… it should have been an amazing day. The dumbass woman that I have purposefully left behind in different roles keeps popping up like a zit that’s infected.

Saints superstar Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera left the club’s main training session at Glenelg in discomfort well before match-sim and didn’t return. Given he did a little bit of gym work afterwards the club insists he’s just being managed off a 6-day break. Still one to watch ahead of Saturday night’s encounter with the Crows. HashHammer big progress and update thread. What the hell is a HashHammer? Hardware Side -Open Source Bitcoin miner currently running 4x BM1370 chips -Improved PCB stack-up designed for carrying high ASIC Currents (R&D from scratch) -Buck Converter similar design and inspiration from Pmaxsd - Rest of the design is completely fresh -LAN connection via Radxa Zero3 or Raspberry Pi Zero -350watt custom PSU -Radxa Zero has HDMI output and USBC -Miner can be split into Master & Slaves -You can power our BFG Carrier Board directly from the master Miner -Ability to Chain multiple ASICS/Miners (Should in theory work Plug&Play. No additional LAN cables, No Pool settings required, configs, etc. -Should in theory be able to run 3 - 4 Miners off this one PSU

In a world of crazy sport schedules, specialization and constant skill work, often times BASIC physical development is left to the wayside. When working with MS and HS kids, I do my best to work in things that don’t “look like s&c training” on purpose. It’s generally in our warm ups and on top of gaining mobility and working on skills, it’s fun. Yes lifting is important and vital. But so is basic level floor work and “gymnastics” work. Learning to fall, roll, cartwheels, move on the ground not only aid in mobility + reducing injuries but build a SOLID base of movement literacy. The younger we do these things and more often we do them the better. Remember… getting stronger is easier than getting more athletic.

this polymarket trader created his account in feb and is already sitting on 200k+ just from fifa markets when you check his account, you’ll see 45 positions on the same market all bought around 1.7c but here’s the interesting part: top teams like england, argentina, spain and many others were never trading that low at 1.7c so how did he manage to get in at those prices and now sit on 200k+ profit with 3 months still left before the tournament even starts should i breakdown how he pulled off this risk-free setup? the hint lies in this: prediction markets aren’t gambling, they function more like financial markets

… nicki … nicki minaj wears custom thom browne for the 2025 met gala. nicki wears an asymmetrical cocoon jacket in navy double duchess satin, embroidered with a running stitch pinstripe using silk thread… a deconstructed take on the dandy pinstripe suit… … cascading off her shoulders, appliquéd hand-cut florals in mixed fabrics, and golden spools handcrafted in new york by the twin sisters of l’enchanteur, unraveling to showcase a work in progress… undone but complete… the look is grounded by a pencil skirt with mermaid train in navy and white pinstripe wool crepe and a corset in white silk moiré with binding in tonal silk duchess satin. Thanks to President Trump’s pro-growth, America First economic policies, we’re beginning to see real progress on affordability. Companies like C&S Wholesale Grocers, Walmart, Sam’s Club, Giant Eagle, and others are lowering prices at hundreds of stores across the country. Over the last several months, we’ve been working directly with grocers, retailers, and wholesalers to expand access to fresh, healthy, affordable food for American families. There’s more work to do, but this is another step in the right direction. Rapid Response 47

If order to hit a big league fastball your brain needs to decide to pull the trigger roughly 25 feet from the ball reaching the plate…. In order to do that, your eyes must be oriented at a spot 25 feet to your left for a righty or 25 feet to your right if you are a lefty…. This begs the question what is the point of hitting off of a tee?…The body will never work the same vs a live ball…. Look how different Mike Trout looks when hitting off of a tee vs hitting a live ball…Watch his left arm and left shoulder do completely different things. The right forearm supinates vs an overhand pitch but it pronates vs the tee…. It’s a function of where the biceps inserts onto the radius. There isn’t a hitter on earth that will use the same swing mechanics off of a tee as they will vs an overhand pitch.

GPT Image 2 + Seedance 2.0 I used a movement sheet as a reference image to animate the dance. Prompt: Monochromatic grayscale illustration, 3D-rendered character, clean instructional reference sheet. White background, comic-style cell grid layout, technical diagram aesthetic. [LAYOUT] 4×4 grid layout (16 panels total). Each panel separated by thin black border lines. Panels are evenly sized and consistently aligned. Each cell is clearly numbered from 1 to 16. [CHARACTER] (Insert character description) Example: Young female dancer with an athletic build, ponytail hairstyle, wearing a crop top, baggy pants, and sneakers. The same character must appear consistently in all panels. [PANEL STRUCTURE – per cell] Top-left: bold number badge + Korean title text Center: full-body character pose illustration Bottom-left: Korean description text (3–4 lines) Overlay: directional arrows indicating movement flow [ARROWS / MOTION INDICATORS] Curved arrows, straight arrows, and circular rotation indicators. Arrows should be placed around the character to clearly show movement direction and flow. [RENDERING STYLE] Highly detailed 3D sculpted style. Soft studio lighting with subtle shadows. No color — grayscale only. Clean linework, polished finish, game concept art quality. [NEGATIVE PROMPT] No background scenery. No color tones. No additional characters. No cluttered or complex backgrounds.

this is the best trick to maximum usage limits on chatgpt codex codex's best kept secret is that your main agent doesn't have to do everything... custom agents are just files in ~/.codex/agents, and one file gives you a second worker on deepseek v4 flash > create ~/.codex/agents/deepseek-worker.toml > set model = "opencode-go/deepseek-v4-flash" with model_reasoning_effort = "max" > keep it bounded: one task packet, no scope creep, report back ```toml name = "deepseek_worker" description = "bounded implementation, testing, and cleanup on deepseek v4 flash" model = "opencode-go/deepseek-v4-flash" model_reasoning_effort = "max" ``` then @ deepseek_worker in the composer... your root agent plans while the worker ships the implementation planning on the main model, execution on the flash lane... that's the whole trick (we run this exact file, last i checked it keeps the heavy turns off the main thread)
