The boldness of President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu is putting an end to the real and present danger of a nuclear armed Iranian regime. Since 1979, this regime has waged war on the West. It has murdered US soldiers, brutally attacked our people in Israel on October 7th, and taken our citizens hostage. In turn, its proxies have held their own countries hostage while committing war crimes by targeting civilian areas. Israel and America have taken the fight to the enemy in a partnership of true allies. In fact, Israel is the only true-and effective-friend of the US the world, as we have seen and heard. The dictator is gone, the missiles are being destroyed, and the nuclear program lays buried in rubble. Iran will soon be free. For the day after, I have no doubt that Iran will return to its former role as a regional powerhouse. Persian ingenuity together with Western investment will lead to a booming economy, and I look forward to investing in that future. I thank all the American and Israeli servicemen and servicewomen who have put themselves in harm's way so that the rest of us can be safe. We owe you a tremendous debt of gratitude. Ordinary civilian targets—shopping center, sports palace, urban areas. Every such strike on Kharkiv and our other cities and towns proves the correctness of our tactics, particularly in the Kursk region—we must push the war back to where it came from, into Russia. And not just in the border areas. The terrorist state must feel what war truly is. I’m grateful to our foreign affairs team, which is convincing our partners that long-range capabilities are key to ending this war. With our drones and missiles, we can accomplish part of the mission. But true peace—true end of this war—is a comprehensive task. To force Russia into peace—to move them from deceitful rhetoric about negotiations to actual steps to end the war, to cleanse our land of occupation and occupiers—effective tools are needed.
