They have delayed their "Avocado" until May after failing to perform against others. Google Gemini does not use Nvidia chips. Google designed their own Ai chips. Not all Ai hyperscalers will continue. Some will give up. Mark Zuckerberg's META might be the first to give up on their own Ai and just license Gemini, following the Apple model. Google released Gemini 3 and it was actually good. January 2026: Apple picks Google. ChatGPT stays as an "optional feature" for complicated queries. But Gemini becomes the DEFAULT intelligence layer for 2 billion Apple devices. The financial reality: Apple pays OpenAI $0 But Apple pays Google $1 BILLION per year That's a verdict.
