It seems that the double-engine government is going in reverse gear. A very large sum of money from the last budget has not been spent. Industrial growth is going down, and so are the finances of our state. The prices of essential commodities are affecting everyone in #Odisha. The suicide of farmers continues. Women are not getting work under #MissionShakti. Unemployment is spiraling. To announce a large sum of money in the budget is not important. What has to be done is the expenditure to be spent for the development of our state. I repeat again, that this is a budget that must be spent for the people of #Odisha. We will watch and see what is being spent.

This budget will benefit the residents of Tshwane as funds will be bolstered to improve service delivery. For the first time in years, the City will procure its own waste trucks and increase funding for the filling of key vacancies. We made a promise to residents of this Capital city when we took office, and we have kept that promise. The budget will be implemented from 1 July 2025, following extensive public consultations.
