Support expression-ui with a star on the repo 👉

If you haven't discovered it yet, check out our Events feature to handle clicks on buttons and such (since you mentioned hooking up that Go Premium button)

Events are hooked up, logic is bound 🤜 it's working well.

Building UI with @rive_app is turning out to be interesting. 🤔 But the timing for building would be quite exhausting for a complex UI..🥶 POV: when one gets used to coding, building becomes easy; & yet again, when one gets used to using @rive_app it also becomes easy.🤧

You're saying the opposite of what I experience 😅 I prefer to build simple UI's with code, and complex UI's using a visual editor. It was almost 5x faster for me to build the UI and animations for it than in code. I'm very use to Flutter after 5 years of using it and 4 years of teaching it publicly. I couldn't build UI's as fast as I do with a visual drawing tool like Figma or rive. But luckily this is just an experiment for myself to find a better way to build UI's and make my work more enjoyable. The only thing that matters at this point is that I enjoy working with it, I've become very bored with crafting widget trees by hand, especially the large ones.

@amans_twt It's to build UI's without writing code.

Absolutely! Sent in DM

What about responsiveness?

We have implemented that as well 😉 We do it how framer does it, an artboard per form-factor.

@rive_app Try doing that in Maui

@rive_app Is this a dig at MAUI or an actual request 😂?

@rive_app The former one 😂 I was doing a lot of Maui lately and I just had to take the opportunity

@rive_app haha, got it. As a Xamarin + C# dev of many years 5+ I was really looking forward to MAUI and then it just kinda flopped 😭 But there actually is a C# runtime for this 👀 which is why the request can be taken seriously 😁

@rive_app Have question: is this Flutter + Figma? How does that work?

@rive_app no, but will use the same rendering runtime. I will export the figma file in a way that’s understandable on a rendering runtime that’s available on all major frameworks and languages. that exported file will be rendered like the one in this video.
