Something cool - had Devin build a React Native app with Expo and test it on my phone in real time AI writes code in the cloud, I scan a QR code, app shows up on my device with hot reload. No local dev environment needed! I can run parallel sessions from anywhere.

We know the pain of slow native builds… so we created something really awesome to fix them. 😎 Introducing RN Repo: a free, open-source plugin that makes shipping React Native apps faster thanks to prebuilt artifacts. ⚡️🚀 Try it out now in beta. Links in the thread.

While you debate if you should switch to native, I've implemented iOS Gallery zoom interaction, using React Native and Expo, and feels incredibly smooth. Recreating this was living in my head over 4 years without paying, now I think it's a good time to show what’s possible. It’s funny that we still have this React Native vs. native discussion from the early times of it. React Native doesn’t stop you from building a performant app, and going fully native doesn’t automatically give you performant apps either. You can build performant, delightful things with React Native.

Imagine investigating why react-native-screens navigation on Android is broken with the default animation, only to find out it’s because of <BlurView /> from Expo, which we’re using in the tabs. After removing it on Android, the navigation bugs are gone.

For our new product, we built a chat in React Native that feels like iMessage Here's how we did it: ① Fabric Swift View ② UICollectionView ③ SwiftUI cells via UIHostingConfiguration React is responsible for the state - mutations, fetching, infinite loading - all via React Query. The native Fabric view is purely for rendering. React decides what to show, native decides how to show it The bridge between three frameworks was tricky but worth it. UICollectionView animations come for free and scroll performance is native-smooth No blank spaces and no FPS drops - all powered by the New Architecture Who wants to see the code?

Introducing Perplexi-Tube, the Perplexity for YouTube that I built in 20 minutes... A Mobile app that uses Deepseek and Gemini I used Cursor and the React Native template built that makes building mobile apps incredibly easy. Tomorrow I'm releasing a full tutorial on how to create a mobile app with react native. You will need - XCode and Simulator (free) - Cursor - A Clerk Account (for auth, free) - A Deepseek API Key - A Gemini API Key (Optional, we used it because deepseek has been down today) Video will be released tomorrow, and I will open source this code as well.

Let's build a Deepseek Wrapper (Mobile App) without writing a single line of code! Everyone is talking about building web apps with AI, but no one is talking about building mobile apps. This video tutorial and @senior_swc template (built by ) will help you get starting building an app on iOS. This is react native so it's also compatible with Android and Web (But we will cover this in a future video). The point of this video is to get some experience in the simulator and to start building an app. In a video, soon, we will take the app we've built, test it on our phone, and put it on Test-Flight! (Without writing ANY code!) Just a warning: The DeepSeek API has been tough to rely on. So I decided to add Gemini into my app as a backup, which you can do as well (with any AI model) The code for template is on the next tweet. Timestamps: 00:00 Introduction 01:35 Setting Up Xcode and iPhone Simulator 02:29 Downloading and Configuring Cursor 04:10 Forking the Template and Initial Setup 06:10 Implementing Authentication with Clerk 08:23 Adding DeepSeek API and Testing 13:35 Enhancing the App with SupaData API 19:00 Using the Serp API to fetch video links 23:00 Figuring things out 27:30 Woohoo!!! Perplexitube Shout out to Galaxies-dev on GitHub, who's repo (chatgpt-clone-react-native), we very helpful in building this template quickly.

👋 Today I'm open sourcing my Expo AI chat app! You can use it as a template for building AI apps with the new Expo RSC support. ◆ Custom cards for weather, movies, and location prompts ◆ Stream UI from the server with Universal React Server Components ◆ Runs on web, native, and in Expo Go

React Native devs: Your background agent can now hot reload in the cloud. We built a CLI that tunnels your local Expo app to a cloud simulator so every code change shows up live. Claude Code can now: - Edit a component - Watch it render live - Confirm the change No simulator on your laptop. No screenshots. A live dev loop, in the cloud, at scale.

web apps are cool but… RORK ai just built my ENTIRE iOS app in 15 minutes 🤯 used grok 3 to create a prompt → dropped the prompt into rork → 15 minutes later i have a complete react native app called “Austin Taco Trail” no code. just tacos. inspired by Matt Shumer

Introducing proof of concept React Imgui! The name is a joke, but it is accurate enough. In the last few days I have been working on a prototype of React driving Dear ImGui using Static Hermes. The result is a fully native app written almost entirely in JavaScript, using unmodified React, typed JS, plus a very small amount of glue C++ code and unmodified Dear ImGui and Sokol. The actual renderer translating React into Dear ImGui is written entirely in typed JS using zero-cost FFI. Of course this wouldn't be possible without React's great design and flexibility. I find it really fascinating that I was able to take literally unmodified React, write a little extra JS, and get a functional fully native app so quickly. Of course everything is unoptimized, and prototype code quality, and who knows how buggy, but it seems to work well enough. Please, watch the video to see it in action. If there is interest, I will write a more detailed article.

I use AI to build mobile apps. Built a React Native chat app during my Twitch livestream two months ago, leveraging Cursor, OpenAI, and Expo. I demonstrated how to build a mobile app from scratch using AI, integrating OpenAI APIs to power the chat completion feature. Source code is in my github Full livestream replay here (6 hours) Cursor OpenAI Expo

With Proof of Human, instead of trying to block bots, software becomes human-only by default. Then you decide what access to give agents. Tom Occhino (CPO, Vercel ) joins Stateful, hosted by Mason Nystrom In this episode, they discuss how Vercel is building the infrastructure layer for human-verified agents with World. - Vercel is now agentic infrastructure: deploy with agents, build agents, and a self-improving platform that fixes its own errors - Workflows does for backends what React did for front ends, composable and reusable in one line of code - CAPTCHAs are archaic. Human-only software by default is the new model. - World ID integration via Workflow SDK: one NPM package, one line of code - Humans as first-class citizens of the internet again 00:00 Vercel's Agentic Infrastructure 01:45 From Front-End Cloud to v0 03:15 Workflow SDK with React 05:30 World ID in One Line of Code 07:00 Beyond CAPTCHAs: Humans First

I still don't think people understand what just happened with Claude Code. There is now one tool that takes you from a rough idea to fully designed, agency-tier, App Store-ready screens in minutes. One design system, every screen, real native code. Most builders hand design to Claude Code, get AI-default screens, and wonder why their app looks like every other vibe coded project. This is the 3-step workflow that fixes it: (full breakdown in the article)

AI app builders are officially obsolete. Stop building static sites. Start building AI-Native Apps. Enter Pro doesn’t just code a page; it builds apps with 'Brains', integrating Claude, GPT, and Gemini directly into your workflow via AI All. designed for build ai native apps or agent One sentence in. A real, emphasis on "ai native app", enter can build ai app or agent, with llm integrated. including the latest image and video models like nano banana, seedance 2.0(ready to launch), veo3.1 etc. Auth. Database. Payments. Handled.
