Mostly made this for myself because I'm often running out of a meeting, or in mid email or something, and have an idea. Opening big boy Conductor can feel distracting ("ooh it got back to me on the thing") so I just wanted a way to stay in flow, throw an idea out there and have it research. It's using apple native voice reco for now, nothing on my servers, and just pushes to conductor api with a template of instructions on what to do that you can edit.

@conductor_build Nice example of an API creating a product surface beyond the original app. The hard part for background agents is safe resumption: persisted state, explicit approval points, and idempotent tool calls so interrupted runs don’t repeat side effects.

@conductor_build "stay in flow" is the whole thing, and tray apps fight you on it. clicking the menu bar means aiming at a 20px target at the top of the screen, which is exactly the moment the idea escapes. does whistle take a hotkey? that was the one change that made mine actually get used.

@conductor_build the honest split is discovery vs repetition. mouse wins while you're still exploring and don't know what you want yet. keyboard only wins on the tenth time you do the same thing. most tools pick one and quietly lose the other half of the job.

I vibe coded an application with Gemini 3 that let's you pick up a pencil and actually start drawing on a piece of paper. The assets are 3D which adds another layer of immersion just purely for fun. Try it here You can't start drawing until you literally click on the pencil to pick it up. You can also switch to a marker or use the eraser on the pencil. If you don't like the drawing you can crumple the paper and throw it in the trash. It will then place a new piece of paper on the table and you have to pick up the pencil again to start drawing again. I added a learn section on the app that links to youtube channels where you can also learn how to draw. It's quite fun to use, it's basically like using a super simplified version of photoshop or paint. It works with a wacom tablet, just can't seem to figure out how to get pressure sensitivity enabled.

You just finished a shift and you are getting ready to go home, you notice that your tire is flat, and now you have to start the ordeal of having it towed, and then getting it fixed, but you really don’t have time and don’t want to take off work for it.
