Built a mini dungeon crawler prototype in Python/Pygame for a long-term passion project. The goal? My own 90s/00s style handheld device with custom hardware and software. This is just a (very) rough result of two afternoons, but pretty happy with it; still a long way to go!

Sora's videos look impressive, but physics understanding and consistancy is still not there yet. It was a quite simple script: "A humanoid robot standing near the table with red, green and blue cubes on it performs a cube stacking task, with red in the bottom and blue on the top." Pretty impressive that it still managed to achieve the goal, only not in a very usual way.

My mind is being blown here in China. This country still has a long way to go in a lot of areas, but when it comes to technology and infrastructure we are being left behind - and it's entirely our fault. In the West we prefer to squabble over culture war nonsense and bathrooms instead of plan for the future.
