Way ahead of its time…visited this place in April this year. If you travel from Chengdu to Xi’An via high speed train, almost 30-40% of the journey is through tunnels in mountain terrain. Amazed to see the audacity of projects & quality, speed of execution.

If only we could get those ancient ones to help Valencia re-route their Turia River! Most people blame t floods (over 100 dead) on "climate change" or heavy rain but I believe China could help - IF ONLY Spain would oblige!

We built schools 30/40 years ago that are falling to pieces and going to apparently cost over 500m to fix. We privatised our water and sewage 30+ years ago, rivers, lakes, seas toxic with billions of litres of raw sewage pumped into them annually.
