Not shooting me in the face

I'm not sure it'd have to penetrate. Those last few shots to the forehead would be iffy. And I'd rather not see Made in China on potentially lifesaving gear.

This technology was tested in Korea and rejected, it's useless. The polymer deforms all the way into the skull on impact, shattering bone and destroying all tissue underneath. It rebounds so the mask or helmet looks nice afterwards, but te resulting injury is worse than a through-and-through penetration.
