CZ: Crypto Illegal Activity Rate Is 100x Lower Than Traditional Finance On July 31, 2026, Binance founder CZ CZ 🔶 BNB said in an interview at the ASEAN Tech Summit that the crypto industry has long faced criticism over illegal transactions, but the data tells a different story. According to the figures discussed, illegal activity accounts for around 0.0014% of crypto transactions, far below the 2%–5% estimated for traditional finance. CZ argued that blockchain’s transparency and traceability make fund flows easier to analyze and monitor. He emphasized that criminal activity should be separated from the technology itself: just because criminals use banks or fiat currencies does not mean the banking system or currencies themselves are the problem.

The NYSE 🏛 has been my home for 41 years, but this moment stands above them all. This statue represents the generations of brokers, specialists, clerks, traders, and market professionals who have stood on this floor to help shape the future of finance. Markets may shift over the years, but what makes the NYSE special is the people, relationships, and human element. So much of my career and life has been shaped by these aspects. Thank you to the NYSE and everyone who has been part of this journey. It is an honor that I will carry with me forever.
