There Never Was A 4 Year Crypto Cycle This is just my opinion, but I think selling because of a "4-year cycle" is a colossal mistake. Every major crypto rally...2013, 2017, 2020, lined up with liquidity expansion. Every crash lined up with liquidity tightening. It wasn't the halving that drove the market. It was liquidity. QT ends in 2 weeks. I'm not saying that post-QT = QE. But I'm saying that post-QT removes the liquidity drain. And that is the big deal for crypto.

I’ve never seen this many “crypto is dead” posts. Everyone has forgotten the 4-year cycle. That only strengthens my conviction that the cycle is still intact. If history repeats, this bear market should end around October, paving the way for the next bull run.

Every crypto cycle bottom has had two things in common: price below the .786 Fib, and a contracting economy. Right now, the .786 is sitting 25-30% lower on altcoins. But the macro is flipping and different than every cycle before at this moment. QT is over, PMI contraction is ending. So either crypto ignores the best macro setup in years and keeps falling… or the 4-year cycle is no longer. I don't know which one it is. But I'm watching both closely.

If you think the 4-year crypto cycle is real, then you should probably just sell everything now and set a reminder to buy back in October 2026. That's the logical conclusion if crypto truly follows a predictable calendar. Also, if 4 year cycle is right, altcoins are done! But if crypto is following the business cycle, then not even btc has had its real bull market yet. Ben Cowen ( ) thinks so: “I mean I think for Bitcoin it is unfortunately” He backs his take with math: “This cycle lasted 1062 days… Last cycle is 1059 cycle before that was 1067.” Bottom line: “Bitcoin more than likely has topped for the cycle.” We can get other token all time highs but he doesn't think we're headed for anything like alt season.

More proof the 4 year cycle is an illusion. Total crypto market cap vs the S&P 500. The 2021 high has still not been reclaimed. Crypto never broke out and away from the S&P in 2024-2025 because that wasn't the bull market. Five to six years of sideways is not what a bull market looks like. That wasn't a four year cycle. That was a record-breaking contraction going back to the 1940s, and a tightening cycle crypto had to survive. PMI just broke 55, contraction is ending, and expansion is starting. Copper/gold bottoms, S&P runs, Russell breaks out, and crypto moves last. That's the order. So the best news for every crypto holder right now is simple: the bull market hasn't happened yet.
