This is societal decay on show, bought about by weak left leaning policies, a general sense of entitlement, a lack of personal responsibility, and a piss weak legal system. I hope everyone is enjoying this tolerant and inclusive society. Don't worry, the government will keep you safe with more surveillance.

There is a huge difference between video surveillance to catch the act or assault and AI and face recognition software. Personally I’m angry that it was hidden from the public and if I had have been aware AI or face recognition was in use, I would not have shopped with the business.

Sorry. This is a good argument for CCTV. It is NOT a good argument for "Facial recognition" built into CCTV (and particularly given one of the offenders was wearing a balaclava).

We have had a Bunnings here for years and I've never heard of one incident. This is the way the deep state cons the masses using deep state MSM. They did the same during the Convid BS and the masses took the bait. Who owns Bunnings and who owns 7. Wake up.

Cameras don't stop anything. Put some big dudes who can fight as security and the trouble won't even start.

Have the Police arrested the offenders?. There are literally witnesses EVERYWHERE.

So Bunnings doesn't like customers breaking the law, yet Bunnings is happy breaking the law? Record video and hand to police if anything happens like any other law abiding business. Operating their own facial identity system is a breach of law.
