Seriously, this just shows how many people still don’t understand what “airborne” actually means. I even have nurses in my own family who don’t seem to fully understand it. Five days later, they’re visiting Grandma and then suddenly everyone else isn’t feeling well. I wonder why 😞 But I guess they’ll learn as time goes on of course, probably the hard way. 🥺🤦‍♂️ And then they just look at the CDC’s “no symptoms” guidance and act like that means you’re automatically safe around other people, which is farther from the truth than anything. Being asymptomatic or feeling better does not mean there’s zero risk of transmission. Honestly, I’m just done trying to convince or teach people. If you’re sick, stay home and avoid other people for as long as you reasonably can. If you absolutely have to see someone, wear a properly fitted N95 and don’t go inside their home. Seriously, just stay home. How hard is that? Because if something is airborne, every time you breathe, talk, cough, or sneeze, you can release infectious particles into the air. In an enclosed home with poor ventilation, those particles can potentially remain suspended and contribute to exposure even after you’ve left. That’s the part people seem to completely forget don't know or care 😡😞

Please remember every family with school-age children or working age adults is thinking exactly like this: Most of them are already diseased or about to be diseased, & they give absolutely no thought about where they spread it.

The interesting part is people think that the ones wearing the masks are the sick ones…and will run away in their irrational fear of a mask, but will stand nose to nose with a feverish looking, voice cracking, heavy breathing, deep throat coughing person like this.

Last week, elementary school, teacher sick coughing for 3 days -in the classroom and roaming everywhere (not masked) -so sick, tested &positive - still returned for 1/2 day to lesson plan and considered presenting herself for back to school night - I just can’t 😭🤮
