I'm curious about the "recruiters". Who they are, what type of man volunteers for that task. I mean, whatever shit the state comes with, they always find thugs to implement it.

Once the war is over, just but strict punishment should meet all those who took part in this lunacy. No one should be able to treat innocent people like this and escape without aby consequences.

Given the dire survival statistics for newly conscripted soldiers on the battlefield, it’s entirely rational for them to resist recruiters - even at the risk of injury. It improves their odds of survival, and we are all inherently programmed to preserve our lives.
