Why are people like me demanding that Senate Republicans enforce the standing filibuster on the Democrats? Because we know it will COST them. Just like the State of the Union cost them. If they want to argue against the 80% of Americans and 71% of their own constituents who support requiring photo ID to vote, make them STAND with conviction. Force them to tell the American people why they're shutting down the business of the government, the business of the people, to do something the people are against! But Americans want conviction from BOTH parties. So, Republicans, have the balls to stand up for something you actually believe in. Enforce the talking filibuster and PASS THE SAVE ACT.
