Here’s my first drive on Tesla FSD V14.2. For the first time on V14, I had zero hesitation or braking issues all day, and no interventions. From a driving perspective, and after 85 miles on and off-camera on V14.2 today, it now feels as comfortable, if not more so, than V13 did, but with all the capabilities of V14. What’s new in FSD V14.2: • Self-Driving stats section that tells you exactly how many Self-Driving miles you’ve driven and the percentage of FSD miles • You can now select speed profiles and parking preferences while in park • Upgraded the neural network vision encoder, leveraging higher resolution features to further improve scenarios like handling emergency vehicles, obstacles on the road, and human gestures • Big improvement (in my experience) to overall everyday driving comfortability • Slightly less strict attention monitoring at times In my opinion, V14.2 is good enough to be sent to every AI4 owner where FSD is legal, and for Tesla to encourage non-FSD owners/subscribers to try it. FSD did have a couple weird navigation decisions it made in my video, but that’s my only complaint. Overall, great version of FSD. 4K YouTube version of my video in thread below:

Unknown to many of you, before Mansa Plus, I was (feels weird saying I was, I still I’m) a musician. @raysmanifests was my music manager! We gave it our all! But guess what, it didn’t work out! Put in a lot of money, recording music, making videos, pushing the songs, but the result was next to zero. On my music YouTube Channel I have under 1400 subscribers! @willyskihumba has had his days as a musician and a Dj, but I will let him tell his story! To an outsider, that looks like failure, and for sure it is failure! However, it was that experience that we used to build Mansa Plus, or rather prepped us to handle what was coming. When we were busy begging people to subscribe and watch our content, it didn’t feel weird because we had been doing it throughout our music days. When we tried to work with certain people and they shut doors on us, we were in familiar territory. When we went months without pay but showed up everyday, that was the norm in our music days! When some people made fun of me and my accent, come on, we were already used to it! And when it came down to work, I was already used to being in front of the camera… I guess as Jay says, it’s not failure it’s a lesson. I’m very proud of what we are doing in this space, and I’m even more proud of every moment that has read us here! It really is in the journey and who you journey with. Luckily, I get to do this with two good friends who are super humans when it comes to their jobs! I finished the DLC for Ninja Gaiden 4: The Two Masters. Here’s a quick little analysis. I liked it quite a lot. It lasts around 3 hours (I played it on Hard). It has small references to the previous games, and that’s definitely appreciated. You can tell they refined the combat system even more and made the game harder, because the three chapters really kicked my ass is a not stop action combat. Maybe I’m just rusty, but enemies respond much better during combat now. One good thing is that when you lose, you can now skip the death dialogue. If you run out of health and press the button, it immediately restarts, which makes everything feel smoother (that was one of the things I had been asking for). However, things like being able to save the game at UMI or the HDR issues were not added or fixed, which is a shame. I liked the new stages — especially the “hell” one. It feels like a sea without water. You can tell this game was designed to be played at night, because in daytime stages the characters look kind of weird. Maybe it’s just something you have to get used to. Yakumo’s new weapon is incredible. Ryu’s new weapon, on the other hand, I didn’t fully understand. It’s simple, but it feels like it’s missing hits — I noticed it felt kind of empty. It’s more of a “connector” weapon than anything else. It’s great that they added the option to customize which weapons you want to use, or even equip them all together. The new enemies definitely add challenge (there are 4 new enemies or bosses), and I liked the final boss — I’m not sure if more than the others in the base game, but I really enjoyed it. To sum it up, I liked the DLC. However, I feel like they’re going to release a BLACK version, because it’s missing unlockable content, costumes, and characters like Ayane. That honestly makes me sad. A game with such a fun combat system really needed that extra content. If this DLC had been included in the base game, it would have been incredible. Later I’ll talk about the new 100-level mode (it has 3 accessories to unlock — they’re probably for the new weapon). But overall, it’s a good, very playable DLC, just lacking in content. Great job by PlatinumGames and Team Ninja — but please learn to listen a bit more to the fans who have been supporting you for years. Adding more costumes or another playable character is enough to make us happy. 🥷 🥰 Team NINJA PlatinumGames Inc. Super Ninja™

Tried out the Marathon playtest. My thoughts as a complete extraction noob: • There is a LOT to learn. It takes some time to get a grasp on everything. • Sound design, visuals, and menus are all fire • Gunplay feels amazing (as expected for Bungie) • AI in this game is a menace 😂 • Gameplay is quite unforgiving. This isn't like Arc where everyone is chill lmao. • TTK is pretty quick. Personally I wish it was a tiny bit longer since that's what I prefer. • Progression systems seem really good so far with the contracts and faction quests • Storytelling and worldbuilding is excellent. I would LOVE a new single player campaign in this universe. • As you rank up the Factions, more story unlocks, and better loot becomes available from the vendors • Losing your items sucks but once you rank up, you can just buy most of it back • There are also free sponsored loadouts you can use if you don't want to risk anything • UI and inventory was confusing at first but not that different from other extraction shooters IMO • Runner abilities all seem useful and sets the gameplay apart from other extraction games • Buildcrafting potential is there between the classes, implants, and weapon mods. There's some real depth to the game, which is another thing that sets it apart. This was my first time playing Marathon and I enjoyed what I played. If you're interested at all, I would suggest giving it a try this weekend since it's free. VERY different from Arc Raiders but might give it some competition. Which is a good thing.

Here’s a full breakdown of the deal: - Purchase price: $1.3M - Revenue: $1.2M/year - Team: 12 employees - Clients: 60 small businesses - Structure: 10% cash / 15% seller note / 75% SBA financing You might be wondering how he pulled it off with zero experience. Most accounting firms for sale are run by a single CPA who owns every client relationship, supported by 3-4 admins. The day that owner walks out, the firm pretty much goes up in flames because every relationship was theirs. Apple Tree was different. The previous owner had pushed himself out of all but 2 client relationships (out of 60) before listing. The team was already handling most of the work. So when Patrick stepped in, he could focus on running the business - sales, marketing, hiring, and upgrading the firm's internal tech. But it wasn't smooth sailing. Patrick Dichter wasn't a CPA, and accounting brokers weren't exactly lining up to take his calls. So he went direct: 500 cold emails and 20 seller calls before the first closed deal (yes, this takes a lot of work). The FSD V14 Lite that is currently running in Korea is overall excellent. This version newly added features like: • Ability to disable the brake confirm • FSD statistics (also viewable in the app) • FSD Streaks These make it much more intuitive to feel that my Tesla truly has “autonomy.” With just one touch, it takes me from point A to point B. There are still occasional moments where I need to intervene, but most of the time it drives very smoothly and stably. It’s truly amazing that a car from 4, 5, or even 7 years ago can gain new intelligence simply through software updates. I’ve driven more than 3,500km with V14 Lite.. sometimes it still feels like a dream. Tesla’s autonomy is that captivating. Here’s another example of how well FSD V14 Lite works in Korea. I even uploaded it to my YouTube channel: I drove my Model 3 from Seoul to Busan(415 km) with zero interventions. The Tanning Bed Won’t Kill You We live in one of the cloudiest, darkest places during the winter, and just a few minutes a week under the lights can rejuvenate you By O.W. Root O.W. Root Petoskey — The sky is flat and gray. Every morning is the exact same. The blinds open, but no sunlight falls onto the bed. The floor on our bare feet is cold like concrete. The moment we rouse ourselves from our covers, we hobble to the shower, aching for warmth. We all wake up to the same frigid horror. We flip through loving photos from August on our iPhones. “We were so happy then,” we muse. We look up and into the mirror, and we gasp. Our faces are cold as bone; sallow, and gray. My God. It’s dreadful, demoralizing, but there is a cure. It’s not a pill or a trip down south. It doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. It’s right down the street, in a dark little room full of humming lightbulbs. The cure to our winter depression is the tanning bed. I came of age in the early ’00s when tanning was quite common. Abercrombie & Fitch, the tanning bed, sandals in winter. Golden faces, ultra-ripped jeans, polos with the little moose logo, and perpetual summer. But since those hallowed days of yore, the tanning bed has fallen out of favor. Tanning has been viciously maligned and vilified to such a degree that going to a tanning bed in 2026 is akin to admitting to a great and terrible secular sin. Today, people claim to be “health conscious,” and that means believing that rotting in the dark rooms of winter like Morlocks is more healthy than acquiring a glorious glow before heading out to shovel the driveway. Often, upon hearing the suggestion of tanning, people protest that you shouldn’t go tanning because you will get skin cancer. Don’t make me laugh. Northern Michigan is one of the cloudiest regions in the U.S. during the winter months. This isn’t a normal place. This frozen tundra is cloud-covered more than almost anywhere else, and you are telling me that going to the tanning bed a few times during these barren months is going give me skin cancer? As I write these words in passionate defense of the tanning bed, I am looking out a bank of windows onto a sad and sunless sky. We have had approximately 6 hours of true sunlight over the past 21 days. Don’t tell me 15 minutes in the tanning bed isn’t good for you. This endless darkness is probably worse for you. Beyond the pearl-clutching concerns about skin cancer, there aren’t any legitimate arguments against tanning in the winter. It’s vilified and eschewed for no good reason. People are more depressed and sallow than they need to be. In fact, ignoring the benefits of the tanning bed is a form of masochism. Though I was in high school in the early aughts and thought of the tanning bed as a normal part of society then, as it waned from public consciousness, so too did it from mine as well. I too for a while thought it must be bad for you and suffered the winter without any help. It wasn’t until a couple years ago that I started to wonder about the forgotten virtues of tanning. I was so down in early March, so cold and so tired of not feeling any warmth or any glimpse of the sun. I hated the way I looked too. The bags under my eyes were so pronounced. My skin was a grayish yellow! I was just feeling gloomy. It was at that low point when I started to think about why I was so happy in the summer and if I could capture any hint of that in winter. And I remembered the long forgotten tanning bed of the early ’00s. I started questioning the narrative about it being so terrible, and I started to balance concerns about skin cancer against the fact of our inordinately cloudy climate. So I went tanning, and I felt good. Laying there under the all-encompassing lights, the low hum of the machine in the dark room, the bright warmth hugging my body; it felt like what I had been missing. And so I went again, and again, and again. And I became someone who goes tanning. It felt good, like how a sauna feels good. It heats you up in a novel way. But unlike a sauna, it makes you look good too. I am sorry to burst the bubble of the goths, emos, shut-ins, and crunchy vegan health freaks, but everyone looks better with a tan. No, that’s not a shallow observation. It’s just true, and it’s good to look good. Deep down everyone wants to look their best, and everyone looks better with a tan. I love the summer. Living up on Little Traverse Bay, I am on the beach all summer. Every day it’s above 70, I’m there. I can’t get enough of the sun on my skin, the sound of the waves, and the feel of the warm sand. The tanning bed gives me about 10% of that, and it sustains me until I can get back on Lake Michigan. I don’t tan in these months because I am an obsessively vain person hopelessly trying to hold onto youth or some impossibly perfect standard. I have gray hairs on my temples that keep coming as the years pass, and I would never dye my hair to hide them. I try to eat healthy and exercise, but I love a great greasy basket of fish and chips and don’t workout as much as I should. I go tanning for the same reason I wear decent clothes, shave every morning, wear cologne, and put my best foot forward. It’s good to look good. Of course, you can become orange if you hit the bed too much. You can become too obsessed with tanning and you can forget how tan you are becoming. This happened in the early ’00s. Orange girls with platinum blond hair. Guys with highlighted hair and nuclear skin. You must be careful not to fall into the trap of the early ’00s. You just want a little color. You don’t want to look like a tangerine. Is there a chance I might get skin cancer from tanning? Sure, I guess. There’s also a chance I might have a heart attack from all those baskets of fish and chips and straight bourbon. There’s also a chance I might get hit by a car before this is published. This might be my very last column and my enduring legacy. I’ll take the risk and the honor. I am a staunch advocate for tanning during the deep winter months in Northern Michigan. We don’t live in Tucson; we live in one of the bleakest winter regions in the country. You don’t need to be so beat-down, you don’t need to be a masochist, you don’t need to be sallow with disturbing shark-colored skin. You can be happy and beautiful like you are in the summer all year round.

I spoke with Prof. Arora (Pooja Arora) about how the postwar norm against aggressive war drove decades of declining violence—and how today’s “might makes right” politics, embraced by leaders like Putin and Trump, now threaten that hard-won peace. Me: The norm that countries do not go to war except in self-defense and with authorization of the UN Security Council has been rejected both by Putin and Trump. Of course, there were often violations of that in the past, including the United States invading Iraq, for example. So it’s not as if that norm was always followed. But still, it was a change from hundreds—maybe thousands—of years of history, and that norm, I think, does deserve credit for the decline of interstate and great-power war since World War II. In my books The Better Angels of Our Nature and Enlightenment Now, I’ve plotted the rate of battle deaths since 1946. I don’t know if my image is reversed or not—whether it goes left to right from your point of view—but it goes down. It has ups and downs, and in the last couple of years, because of the wars you pointed to—Ukraine, Gaza, and even more so East Africa, in Sudan and Ethiopia—there has been an uptick. Still, that uptick has not wiped out all the progress we’ve made. We are still at a more peaceful time than in the 50s, 60s, 70s, or 80s. We’re back to around the late 1990s level. But it has gotten somewhat worse, and it could get worse still if that norm is permanently shattered. It is certainly being threatened. We don’t know whether it will reassert itself—given that Ukraine has been very costly to Russia, and given that Donald Trump says a lot of things he doesn’t do. I still think it’s unlikely the United States will apply military force in Greenland. But there’s no question the norm is being threatened, and I do think it’s a serious risk to world peace. Pooja Arora: It just appears that realism is back with a bang, and that “might makes right” may win. Me: Well, it is back, certainly. And the Trump administration is very explicit about that. They have basically said “might is right.” The question is, will that prevail? It might. On the other hand, there were good reasons to have the liberal international order—namely, that it prevented war. And wars, as the bumper sticker from my childhood said, are not healthy for children or other living things. There are huge disadvantages to war. Countries get tired of them. People revolt against governments that engage in them. We’re seeing that in Iran right now. One grievance is that the ayatollahs have wasted national resources on proxy wars across the Middle East at the expense of their people. There could very well be a backlash in the United States if it gets involved in wars and American soldiers start losing their lives. So yes, there is a definite movement toward what’s called realism. I think it’s a bad term, because I don’t think it’s particularly realistic. It’s actually quite realistic to believe that avoiding stupid wars is a much better path to prosperity and well-being. Still, cynical, zero-sum competition is being embraced by major world leaders. The question is whether the disadvantages will ultimately bring the liberal international order back. The European Union is still committed to it, as is much of the rest of the world, East Asia. So it’s not dead—but it is certainly threatened.

It gives the game long-term depth and makes progression feel earned, not rushed. 🎰𝗚𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗮 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 🖲️YES, the gacha is actually good. 🖲️There’s a clear sense of progress with solid rates over time, and plenty of usable characters even if you’re not pulling five-stars nonstop. And when the characters look this good?
