Because organic flesh still ages. But you already knew that.

I'm a cybernetic organism. LIVING TISSUE over a metal endoskeleton.

cause it is real skin hair nails etc to fool the dogs ... been a long time so I guess understandable that people would forget that part

It's flesh. Flesh has a finite life due to telomeres. It wi l grow old, and die.

The T-800 is a cybernetic organism developed by Cyberdyne Systems, featuring a hyper alloy metal endoskeleton covered in living human tissue—skin, hair, blood, and other bodily fluids. This design allows the machine to mimic human appearance, movement, and even biological responses like sweating, bleeding, and aging.

Because if you paid attention to any of the movies let alone just one of the multiple films that have come out over the years you would remember/know that they have real skin real breath etc. to infiltrate and take out human encampments bro is this your first day?

Because the organic tissue surrounding a Terminator ages due to the fact that it has Telomeres.

If you watch the movie they timetravel from the 80’s into 2017. But Arnolds terminator didnt time travel. He waited 30+ years as time went by and let Sarah and Kyle reunite his timeline. His flesh aged. It’s all in the movie if you watch it.

Emilia Clarke was absolutely horrendous in this lol… she looks like a little girl… not a grizzled war-vet mom.

Because it was always a cybernetic organism. Living tissue over metal endoskeleton. The living tissue got old.

Because:

he was an older model that was engineered to biologically age like a human compared to newer models which could regenerate their physical appearances and enhance them.

Because the skin suit he’s wearing is actually alive.

Because he was partially biological meaning cellular division and things still take place. his mechanical parts wouldn't age but the part designed to blend him in with humans would.

Skynet's primary goal was to breach resistance defenses. Previous models like the T-600 had rubber skin, making them easy to spot. The T-800 uses realistic, living human tissue (including blood and hair) which allows it to blend in.

Skin is biological and ages. Machinery breaks down. That's why.

It’s just human tissue. His frame doesn’t age. But the skin and hair do to help him blend in. That’s the point of making him look human in the first place.

T-800 units, based on whats said in the first movie, were suppose to have a kind of organic matter used to emulate flesh to such a degree that it not only feels human but bleeds and sweats. This covering might just be subject to the same kind of cell aging that human skin and hair undergo. It certainly wouldn't change the fact you have a hardened machine underneath that covering that can still hit with the force of a truck.

That wasn't even the dumbest part of this movie

"Endo skeleton, that is covered in organic tissue" in theory.. I mean. His hair could go white? But I think the govenator just didnt want to dye his hair.

Because the parts that age are the biological parts.

The flesh is actually organic. The machines presumably took real human DNA, and grew all the visible organs of a human around the T-800, which includes the hair. His hair follicles would've aged and turned gray because that is in its DNA. In the motel scene in T1 the Terminator supposedly smells "like a dead cat", meaning the meat is organic and can rot. I guess the only unexplained part is how the biological parts sustain metabolism if the Terminator doesn't eat organic sustenance.

The skin around the frame is biological. It will age and decay when enough time passes.

"Listen. The Terminator's an infiltration unit. Part man, part machine. Underneath it's a hyper-alloy combat chassis. Microprocessor controlled. Fully armoured, very tough. Outside it's living human tissue. Flesh, skin, hair, blood - grown for the cyborgs." - Kyle Reese

So Terminator explained they have skin sweat bad breath it would be safe to think the skin and hair can age considering theyre based upon infiltrating us sometimes for extended periods of time.
