I miss this style of antagonism between heroes and villains. Quick, snappy, to-the-point, and just casual enough to be believable. This series deserved so much better.

That was the first time we see Zurg's villain associates in the same scene together. This came from the episode that featured the second appearance of the three alien scientists with one of them being voiced by Jonathan Harris.

Pixar deadass saw this and said "nah this sucks, let's make Buzz origin movie a boring Interstellar knockoff".

You gotta love when the hero casually calls up the villain to see if they committed a crime lol

Shame the only DVDs this show ever got was for the movie (which I have a Japanese and Australian release, for the record).

I used to think that the VA for Zurg was Joe DiMaggio because he sounded a bit like Bender from Futurama, but it’s actually Wayne Knight from Jurassic Park (AKA the embryo guy)
