Yup and to expand on that I usually do this Free hand an object - trace the object - compare the tracing and freehand, note every differences and mistakes - freehand again - trace again - compare again Repeat that until you're satisfied with your freehand

I do this to help me learn posing and draw characters. It is a great way to use tracing as a tool.

I started doing this since 2019 and I really improved more and more as time passed. There is still a bunch of things I still have to learn, but I could not go where I am now without it, really.
