putting energy that fast into battery cells is a 100% promise that your battery is going to fail after 4 charges or just explode since the heat would melt the welds and cause a short circuit.

Very dangerous to charge that fast. The batteries could overheat and explode. Also the electrical contacts it has to make to charge needs to be very low ohmic resistance. Plus the grid needs to be able to handle the surge especially if many are charged at the same time.

Yeah, you'll wonder right now how long they could continue to do that? I mean, I'm sure like everybody else, they do count on fossil fuels as part of their EV package.

This is literally how all superchargers work. When the battery is low you can charge very fast. On a modern charger with a Tesla you can routinely charge at more than 1000 miles added per hour when the battery is low. On all these things it slows down the more full the battery is.

This is great for technology advancement but normal passenger cars dont need this.

It's impossible for Europe to achieve widespread adoption of such a system. The power grid has limited capacity, is unmanaged, and illegal immigrants are of low quality. Could a power grid last for a week without being stolen if it's unattended?
