News from the Russian car industry The steering wheel of a Lada Vesta locked up at high speed, the airbags failed to deploy, and the “SOS” system was unable to call for help — the car rolled over into a ditch three times, leaving the driver with a spinal fracture. This is the first recorded accident since AvtoVAZ admitted to a widespread problem of steering wheel lock-up while driving.

The incident happened outside of a Chilean market while the woman was being put in a police van. The cameraman filming the video you see was hit with a bullet along with one other person and a guard. The cameraman was hospitalized with serious injuries and is currently in stable condition. The other two were wounded as well.

Cops are looking for three men who viciously assaulted a 42-year-old man as he waited for the train in a Bronx subway station. The victim was standing on the platform waiting for northbound No. 4 train at the 161st St.- Yankee Stadium subway station around 8 p.m. Wednesday when he got into an argument with three men he didn’t know. One of the suspects slashed him with a knife on his left abdomen, right eye and left side of his face. Then the other two suspects started punching and kicking the victim before hopping on a northbound train and disappearing. EMS transported the victim to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition. He is expected to recover.
