News from the Russian car industry The steering wheel of a Lada Vesta locked up at high speed, the airbags failed to deploy, and the “SOS” system was unable to call for help — the car rolled over into a ditch three times, leaving the driver with a spinal fracture. This is the first recorded accident since AvtoVAZ admitted to a widespread problem of steering wheel lock-up while driving.

But watch the front brake calipers as the wheel comes out 👀 As the wheel is removed, the calipers pivot outwards on their mounts to help the wheel come out cleanly, before the new one slots straight back into place. The cameraman was hospitalized with serious injuries and is currently in stable condition. The other two were wounded as well.

Cops are looking for three men who viciously assaulted a 42-year-old man as he waited for the train in a Bronx subway station. The victim was standing on the platform waiting for northbound No. 4 train at the 161st St.- Yankee Stadium subway station around 8 p.m. Wednesday when he got into an argument with three men he didn’t know. One of the suspects slashed him with a knife on his left abdomen, right eye and left side of his face. Then the other two suspects started punching and kicking the victim before hopping on a northbound train and disappearing. EMS transported the victim to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition. He is expected to recover.
