C++ Standards Contributor Banned For Using Word "Question" Seriously. C++ ISO Standards Group has permanently banned a long time contributor (w/dozens of papers on C++) because he included the word "question" in the title for a technical document. It's as insane as it sounds.

The expulsion of an expert over a word in their paper title isn't just about language sensitivity; it's a blatant abuse of power. Such decisions not only undermine the core values of technical research, but also set a dangerous precedent where fear of controversy trumps the pursuit of knowledge and dialogue. I hope someone from WG21 will be held accountable for this.

Everything leftists touch turns to shit.

I think it's time to get rid of the 'class' keyword. It's triggering.

We need to abolish all of these committees, every one of the members need to be outed, publicly mocked, & humiliated, & expunged from all open source projects, for good. Or we need to simply not participate in any of them.

@isocpp WTF? Why would this account go protected?

Real question: Was this story really censored on hacker news?

Or you could make an effort to add context

Way to go @herbsutter. This is ridiculously idiotic. Do you have any other ideas on how to drive down the adoption or continued use of this language? Hint: this isn't helping your cause.

Lex P started to compare white c*rn to black c*rn, and she says there is something about white c*rn that just doesn’t give it up for her which is the fact that she don’t like the word c*ck because it is giving the “N” word💀😭🥀 “What if you f6ck!n* a n!gg6r and he’s like yeah you like that c*ck”😭
