CSS Tip! 🎠 You can create a responsive infinite marquee animation with container queries and no duplicate items 🤙 li{ animation: slide; } @keyframes slide { to { translate: 0% calc(var(--i) * -100%);}} The trick is animating the items, not the list 😎 More tricks 👇 To get this one working, you need to animate the items and not the list (Watch the video first?). Each item needs to know its row index (--i) in the list and the parent needs to know how many rows are in the list: ul { --count: 12; } li:nth-of-type(1), li:nth-of-type(2) { --i: 0; } li:nth-of-type(3), li:nth-of-type(4) { --i: 1; } Once you have that, translate each item based on its row index in the list li { translate: 0% calc((var(--count) - var(--i)) * 100%); } Now for the animation. The key here is that each row has an animation-delay calculated from its index (--i). That number is offset to make it negative so the animation start is offset ✨ ul { --duration: 10s; } li { --delay: calc((var(--duration) / var(--count)) * (var(--i) - 8)); animation: slide var(--duration) var(--delay) infinite linear; } Make sure to wrap that animation in: @media (prefers-reduced-motion: no-preference) { ... } Lastly, the fun parts! 🤓 To create the "vignette" mask. Use a layered mask on the container 😷 .scene { --buff: 3rem; height: 100%; width: 100%; mask: linear-gradient(transparent, white var(--buff) calc(100% - var(--buff)), transparent), linear-gradient(90deg, transparent, white var(--buff) calc(100% - var(--buff)), transparent); mask-composite: intersect; } To create the 3D skewed effect, use a chained transform (Try toggling it in the demo ⚡️): .grid { transform: rotateX(20deg) rotateZ(-20deg) skewX(20deg); } As for the responsive part, use container queries! 🔥 article { container-type: inline-size; } When the article (card) is narrower than 400px update the grid and animation settings 🤙 Double the rows means double the duration! @container (width < 400px) { .grid { --count: 12; grid-template-columns: 1fr; } li:nth-of-type(1) { --i: 0; } li:nth-of-type(2) { --i: 1; } li:nth-of-type(3) { --i: 2; } li:nth-of-type(4) { --i: 3; } li { --duration: 20s; } } CSS has the magic to be able to update those animations at runtime based on your custom property values 😎 An added bonus in this demo is that it doesn't require any JavaScript at all, for any of it 🤯 We can use CSS :has() for those toggles that update the styles, even the theme toggle! 🫶 Any questions, let me know! Make sure to check out the video. Will do a walkthrough one to follow-up 🤙 CodePen.IO link below! 👇

Appreciation post, plus CDE Chinoz’s video msg😅🙏🏿❤️✨ What a wild ride my 50th birthday turned out to be! 🎢🎉 My family and friends threw a spectacular surprise joint birthday bash for Gwen, my "twin" cousin-aunt, and me. Now, let me give you the inside scoop on this epic event. 😎 Picture this: two cousins, born just hours apart, celebrating half a century of life together! And it all started with our mothers going into labour at the same time and in the same house at my grandmother’s place; birthing us in the same hospital 50 years ago. 🏥👶🎉 Talk about a bond that can't be broken! You can imagine my surprise when I walked into the party venue on Saturday to find over 120 faces staring back at me! We laughed, we cried, we prayed, and oh boy, did we dance! 💃 But wait, there's more! I received special video messages from around the globe.🙏🏿👏🏿🌍❤️ Thank you to all my incredible family and friends who put their hearts and souls into making this celebration unforgettable. I couldn't possibly name you all, but know that you're deeply loved and appreciated. ❤️ And now for the grand finale: a surprise message from none other than Cde "Chinoz" Chinotimba! 😂😅 Yes, you heard that right. He sent a message both congratulating and scolding me (classic Chinoz, am I right?) about my reporting style. 📰🙉 In true "se mwana asina tsika" fashion, I just had to share this special video message from the ‘war veteran’ (see attached video) I can't forget to express my heartfelt appreciation for the outpouring of love and well wishes I received from all of you through various platforms – X, TikTok, Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp, and more! Your thoughtful messages made my day even brighter. May God bless each and every one of you for making my 50th birthday an unforgettable celebration. 💖🙏

Test of Vidu 2.0 Update Vidu is the equivalent of Veo 2 for creating Anime with AI! #vidu #viduspeed (Music by Takachan: Hi everyone, hope you're well ^^ 😄👍 It's been a while since I posted because I've been working on an animation. I struggled a lot with character and background consistency issues, so it's still in production! 😉 Today, we are here to test Vidu version 2.0, which will be released in 6 days (By the way, did you spot the Anime references I included? ha ha). Here’s what you need to know: In 3 words: Speed, stability, dynamism ✔ Speed: This new version allows you to animate an image in a few seconds, much faster than previous versions. ✔ Stability: Until now, Vidu was way too dynamic, and we had very little control over it, making storytelling particularly complicated. This version is extremely stable, allowing you to create stories easily. ✔ Image Style Fidelity: This version is extremely faithful to your image styles, something the previous version of Vidu had a lot of trouble with, as it always tried to change the appearance and texture of characters. This version perfectly retains the image style! For example, at 00:19. ✔ Transitions: The transitions have been greatly improved; they are also very stable! At 00:16, you have examples of transitions. It's also a big step forward! ✔ Better Prompt Understanding: Another excellent thing for storytelling! ✔ I also note Vidu 2.0's ability to identify tiny characters and animate them dynamically, which is really great!! You can see it at 00:22. In this animation, I tried to use all of these features. ❌ Negative Point: This exceptional stability gain is at the expense of movement. To continue having very dynamic renders (for example, a character running extremely fast), you'll either need to use keyframes or switch to version 1.5 (which has also been improved). Of course not — but you should. 🔸And here’s why🔻 ~ 𝗦𝗘𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗧: The top 10 “influencers” you see as web3 gods are not grinding like you — they are paid per post. I know because I was offered the same. Also, they are not real influencers — real influencers charge thousands of $$$ per post and do not shill anything. ~ They don’t give a shit because they get paid upfront. But you shill daily for nothing — and the worst part is, you shill to your own community and followers. Do you even realize how many people lose money because you don’t think about what you’re doing? ~ What if you had to pay back every person in your community who invested in what you shilled and then lost everything? ~ 𝗚𝗥𝗢𝗪 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗞 𝗨𝗣 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗧 𝗕𝗘𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗟𝗘 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗧. Don’t believe me? Just look around. ♦️ You’ll see “smart” mofos claiming other people aren’t organic. Mfer… NOTHING in web3 is organic. Not a single post. All the comments are in exchange for something — whether from influencers or projects. They just talk shit coz their accounts & persona are nothing and they are lazy to work for it! ♦️There’s a lot of FUD regarding girls in web3. While some girls are real gamers or content creators, keep in mind that literally 95% are managed by dudes — even if the photos or videos are real. Also, notice how many of the girls you guys goon over in web3 today just removed all their booty photos after they got followers & attention, or deleted all the photos with themselves. If anyone’s curious, DM me — there are peeps that have all their sexy pics, even if they deleted them. 🔸Now they claim to be gamer influencers, but we also have proof that they’re completely managed by dudes ( literally the guys confessing they do everything for them ). Skills are the quickest way to 10x the quality and consistency of what you get from Claude Code. And you don't need to be a developer to use them. Anthropic just published how they use hundreds of skills internally every day. Most skill tutorials are made for developers — if you're in marketing, sales, content ops, or GTM, you probably watched those and moved on. But skills are just as important for non-developers. A skill is just a reusable prompt with clear instructions for a specific task. Instead of prompting Claude the same way over and over, you build it once and invoke it every time. I have a skill for writing on LinkedIn. A different one for YouTube outlines. Another for X. Each platform has different rules, different voice, different structure — so each one gets its own skill. If you're doing something repeatedly, it's time to make a skill. The biggest mistake most people make: building skills as a single .md file. A single file dumps everything into context whether Claude needs it or not. Wastes tokens. Gets worse results. Skills should be folders. Here's the structure that works: skill.md — the orchestrator. Tells Claude which files to read and when. It doesn't contain rules itself — it's the playbook. instructions/ — separate files for voice, structure, scope. Claude only loads the one it needs for the current step. examples/ — good AND bad. Good examples show what success looks like. Bad examples show patterns to avoid — AI writing tells, weak hooks, generic CTAs. Most people skip bad examples. Don't. eval/ — a checklist that scores every output before you see it. "Does it have a clear hook?" "Is it free of AI buzzwords?" Pass or fail on each item. templates/ — output formatting so you get consistent structure every time. The three types of skills that matter most for non-developers: 1. Business automation. Writing a newsletter. Checking reports and drafting follow-ups. Running programmatic ad campaigns. Any workflow you repeat — build a skill for it. 2. Content templates. Landing page copy, meta ads, email sequences, SEO briefs. Each one has specific requirements. Each one gets its own skill. 3. Thinking partners. This is the one people miss. Skills don't have to produce output. They can help you think — an advisory board that reviews your work from your ICP's perspective, a coach that pressure-tests your strategy, an ideation partner that researches competitors before suggesting your next move. If you already have skills as .md files, here's the exact prompt to restructure them in the Anthropic approved format: "I want to restructure my Claude Code skill file. Right now my skill is a single .md file and I want to break it into a folder system following Anthropic's best practices. Read my current skill file, then restructure it into a folder with: a skill.md orchestrator, an instructions/ folder with separate files for each concern (voice, structure, scope), an examples/ folder with good and bad examples, an eval/ folder with a quality checklist, and a templates/ folder for output formatting. Keep all my existing rules and intent — just reorganize them into the modular structure." Paste that into Claude Code pointed at the folder where your skill lives. It handles the rest. A few caveats: 1. Don't add too many skills. Every skill adds context Claude has to process. 50 skills loaded means everything slows down. Start with 3-5 covering your most repeated workflows. 2. Vet skills before downloading. If you grab a skill from the internet, read what's inside first. Skills can include shell commands and scripts. Check what you're running. 3. Share what works. Build a skill that performs well, put it in a shared GitHub repo. Your marketing org gets shared skills for copywriting, SEO, ad copy — new hires invoke the skill instead of learning every playbook from scratch. Onboarding time drops dramatically. 4. Keep your skills updated. When you see output you love, add it as a good example. When you see a pattern you hate, add it as a bad example. The skill gets sharper every time. I made a full video walking through all of this — including a live build of two skills from scratch (no terminal, no code), the exact prompt I use to restructure old skills, and 5 pro tips from Anthropic's internal playbook. Share this with your non-developer friends that want to do more with AI; or bookmark it to come back to at a later time.

See The Daily Juice of Bruce 🥃 below if joining the Pee Warriors, might be for You. 👊 I'm just a fan like you are. 🫵 (🚫NO AFFILIATIONS🚫) 🛑NEW! [HD]💥1080Pee🔥! Here's the final conclusion to one of if not the most hyped fights in ALL of DBZ. I took the last bit with "Hyperbolic Time Chamber" from (Part 1) and felt it 100% necessary to include it to set the mood for (Part 2). I tried to edit it where it the story feels cohesive. This one took probably 4x the usual editing time, so if you enjoyed these . Please give me a like 😭 Just wanted to say thanks again everyone for being here, and showing your love and support for the Golden Era of DragonBall Z! Let me know in the comments what iconic moments you would like to see! I typically won't upload a video in 2 parts like this. I am curious to anybody who saw (Part 1) already. Did me trying to promote it generate any hype for you? Did it leave you craving more at all or genuinely gave you something to push forward through to look forward to today? I suspect even some might have wanted to wait for both parts to release. I know that sounds cheesy, but if it's a way to successfully capture nostalgia I'd like to try to advertise what's coming more, albeit not spammy. Whenever you see something from me, I hope you can also escape back to your younger self, and just enjoy bein the kid u once were, and forget about real life for a few moments. Love you guys again. -Pee ❤️ This is the only exception that I am doing a full fight that isn't involving minor characters. 🚨IF YOU MISSED (PART 1) 🚨 I have added it in the comments below for you also. I hope ya'll enjoy the hell out of this and your weekends! The current schedule is 2 edits per day. One before Noon EST, the other around 7PM EST. 12 replays - 2 new. *NEW* edits are on Tuesdays / Fridays at 5:00PM EST, a little earlier because you might not have as much time as free time as when you were 12. This is the DragonBall Z we grew up with. ✅💯

Claymotion ads are crushing it on Meta right now. Built a free claude skill to make them 👇 If you've been scrolling Meta lately, you've seen them — stop-motion clay characters, tactile textures, weirdly satisfying to watch. CTRs are 2-3x the feed average. Almost nobody is running them. The problem: they look impossible to make unless you have a studio. They're not. You just need the right prompts. So I packaged the prompt system as a Claude Code skill. It's free. Here's what it does: Paste your product URL. Out comes a full claymotion ad plan: 1/ Shot-by-shot storyboard 5-7 shots with the narrative arc. Setup → product reveal → payoff → CTA. 2/ Image prompt per shot Exact prompt you paste into Midjourney, Nano Banana, or any image gen. Camera angle, lighting, clay texture specs, character details — dialed in for consistency across shots. 3/ Video prompt per shot The animation prompt you paste into Kling, Veo, Seedance, or Sora. Motion direction, pacing, transitions — so the shots actually flow. 4/ VO script per shot Voiceover copy written for rhythm. Timed to the shot length. Hook, body, CTA — all on brand. 5/ Music + sfx direction Tone notes for the track. Specific sfx cues per shot (squish, pop, whoosh) You take the outputs. Paste them into your image + video generators. Stitch the shots. Record the VO. A full claymotion ad in under an hour, at the cost of a few API credits. Instead of $3,000 and 3 weeks with an animation studio. Why claymotion works right now: → Pattern break — nothing else in the feed looks like it → Tactile feel — clay reads as "real" even when AI-generated → High dwell time — people watch the whole thing → Cheap to test — 5-10 variations per product is now feasible Comment "Clay" and I'll send you: → The Claude Code skill (free) → A starter prompt pack → 3 example storyboards so you can see the output (must be connected)

I made this product launch video over the weekend with just prompts It's all vibe coded There's something you should know, though: Like everyone else, a few days ago my timeline started getting full of videos like this when Remotion launched their Claude skill, so I decided to give it a go I was captivated by all the examples, so I started like everyone was saying: "just write a prompt" I typed the prompt, and it created an extremely bland, untasteful, stock-looking video 10 prompts in and it was not getting better. It was very, very bland. But at least it was something, so I kept going at it I ended up spending my entire weekend on this, 2-3 days of work. Only to realize my original reference videos that inspired me to get started were all fake Everyone was outright lying about their results. They all claimed "I made this with just one prompt", but it was just bait, they didn't really use Remotion or code at all, it was just a normal, human-made motion video Then you expand the X post and read the replies and they're all like "haha joke" in the comments, but their main post already got 1.5 million views and bamboozled everyone who didn't read further And this is a problem: when a viral trend happens, these posts flood your timeline, and you only realize that they're all noise and bait (and that they haven't even used the tools they claim) when you click through the post and read its comments. But 90% of people (like me, initially) just see the post on their timeline while scrolling, and assume it's all real. You don't go in to check every single post you see: you just like it, or save it for later, and carry on with your day, thinking what you saw was the real thing, and that it's all outstanding results, and that motion designers are really done And it's so anxiety inducing, because everyone is hyping their results, but most of it is just not true. I have stopped reading X lately because going in makes me so anxious, everyone is claiming extraordinary outlier results just for the views and clicks, and you feel like you're lagging behind and you're not good enough because you don't get those results So for this video I decided to actually take the tech out for a spin, and see what results I could really get out of it I used Remotion and Claude Code 4.5, but contrary to what everyone was claiming, this video was not "just a prompt". It was fully vibe coded, but it required much more than a prompt. It was multiple days worth of work Here's what I learned: - Making vibe coded videos with Remotion is ~10-20x slower than building app code. I've been wasting my Claude limits on this video - Everything takes a lot of manual work and reprompting. You often need to go frame by frame correcting tiny things - It makes very silly mistakes - Even Opus 4.5 has very very limited knowledge of spatial / visual things. It doesn't understand well z-indexes, layers, compositions, proportions, temporal coherence, etc. Claude Code feels extremely dumb when creating code for Remotion videos, which surprised me a lot, beacuse I had been mind blown by how incredibly well it worked with my Ruby on Rails SaaS codebases - You need to have some design knowledge to adjust things manually, you need to ask for exactly what you want, in the technical jargon it expects. You can't just say "make this more beautiful" or "animate this better" because it just creates slop - Right now vibe coded videos are promising, but I think I could have done this video faster just by doing it manually in After Effects. It really took that much work - If you have a creative idea for something you want to animate, it takes multiple hours of back and forth prompting to create just one or two seconds worth of **good** animation - Tip: PARAMETERIZE everything! It tends to hardcode magic numbers everywhere in the code, so if you change something earlier in the video timeline, everything else breaks. You want to essentially be creating "key frames" with code by telling it to parameterize every frame where something important happens, and calculate the rest of the keyframes based off that. This comes in handy when you need, for example, to adjust keyframes to match the music So in summary: vibe coded videos are promising, but right now it only works for very stock-looking videos unless you put in a ton of effort Maybe actually useful for 1-2 second web animations though, I'll try that next It will obviously get better, this feels like the quality of code generation in 2023-2024, you need to hold its hand and correct it at every step along the way. But even if video code generation was better, you would still need someone with motion design knowledge to at least set the creative direction, lay out the overall script and composition, etc. It's not completely hands-off unless you want slop And a word on caution: especially here on X, there's 90% hype and 10% reality, nothing is what it seems. Do not believe what you see online, people are constantly baiting and then just laughing it off in the comments

MrBeast found four other lunatics online. Three college dropouts. One high school dropout. One guy who quit his job. They talked on Skype every day for 1000 days straight. 7am to 10pm. Then sleep. Then do it again. One of them became the biggest YouTuber on the planet. He spent 10 minutes explaining what they studied: Here's why having the right people accelerates everything. "Imagine working solo. 12 hours a day for a year. You make a mistake, you learn from it. You grind." "Now imagine four friends equally grinding on something similar." "Friend one makes a mistake on Friday. Teaches the other four. Friend two makes a mistake the next week. Teaches everyone." "You're all learning from each other's mistakes. Constantly studying 24/7. Downloading each other." "After a year, you're like 2 years ahead of the guy who was solo." They studied thumbnails obsessively. "We'd take a thousand thumbnails and see if there's a correlation between the brightness and how many views it got." "Something a lot of people forget: on phones, thumbnails are really small. People edit thumbnails full-blown on their computer. When you shrink it down, you can't see anything." Your title and thumbnail set expectations. Then you must exceed them. "At the very beginning of the video, to minimize drop off, you want to assure them that those expectations are being met." "If you're putting a million Orbeez in a pool, don't start the video with you shopping for your mom's birthday present." "Just say: this is 100 million Orbeez. We're going to fill this pool and this entire backyard with them." "Match the expectations. Then exceed them. Blow their mind. Be like: you're also getting even more." Anyone can clickbait. The difference is delivery. "We say we put 100 million Orbeez in the backyard. We put 100 million Orbeez in the backyard." Here's the algorithm truth no one wants to hear. "Anytime you say the word algorithm, just replace it with audience." "The algorithm didn't like that video? No. The audience didn't like that video." "If you're not retaining a viewer, would it make sense to promote it? Why would you promote a 10-minute video that people watch on average a minute and a half?" "Literally all the algorithm does is reflect what the people want. If you deny that, you just make terrible videos and are trying to find a scapegoat." His reinvestment strategy was relentless: "For the last eight or nine years, every dollar I've made, I just spent it the next month on content." "I just did that every single month. It just kept getting bigger and bigger. And here we are." Meanwhile, he lived in a $700/month duplex. Split with a roommate. $360 each. "Living your life chasing a nicer and nicer car and a bigger and bigger box to live in is kind of a dumb way to go about life." He only moved because someone broke in and stole everything. "I had to get a little nicer house for security reasons." On obsession: "Since I was 13, there probably hasn't been a single hour that's gone by that I've been awake where I haven't thought about YouTube." "I'm just focused on making the best videos possible, period." "I don't care about making money. I don't care about time. I just want to make the best videos on the planet." The effort is insane. "Sometimes we're filming for 3 or 4 days. 10 hours a day. 30, 40 hours of filming plus months of setup." "Most creators probably film for a couple hours and set up for a day." "We brainstorm video ideas relentlessly. Hours every day." "By always doing all those things, it just distinctively sets it so far apart that in my head it's like: why would you not watch it?" Viewers aren't stupid. "They can tell when you half-ass a video or if you really put in effort." "If they can tell you're putting in a lot of effort, they're going to be more likely to click on future videos." "Once you build that trust, they get to a point where it doesn't matter what you upload. They just know it's high effort. They're just conditioned to watch because you have a good track record." On why most creators burn out: "A lot of people aren't willing to put in 10-hour days because they don't like what they're doing." "If you don't enjoy it, you're going to burn out. You're doing this for years, not months." "I just had the blessing of finding what I loved at a young age." "To get to this level, it takes a decade. Most people don't find what they love till their young 20s. So they'd be where I'm at in their 30s." "I just lucked out and found it when I was really young." One insight changed everything: "Only 10% of the world speaks English. 90% of the world can't even watch your content." "When I realized that, I was like: wait a minute." "We started doing dubs like 6 months ago. It's crazy how viral some of these videos go. 51 million views in Spanish." "The guy who does my dubs is the same guy who dubs Spider-Man." Here's the math most creators get wrong: "It's much easier to get 5 million views on one video than 50,000 views on 100 videos." "Takes way less effort." This 10 minute video will teach you more about content, obsession, and why most creators stay small than every course combined. Bookmark & give it 10 minutes today, no matter what.

6⭐️ Hash 🍫🔥 Can YOU Visually tell the Trichomes size of true 6-Star hash perfection⁉️ When it’s oily, and has greasy layers, it’s that flawless full-melt bubble. Pure resin gold with zero residue. This is what the 2026 solventless boom is chasing: elite full-melt hash that vaporizes like ancient medicine, not plant junk. But, can you spot the trichome size and quality just by eye that earns those sacred 6 stars? ✨ In our 28-million-year co-evolution with cannabis, the plants taught us this code. Landrace genetics + proper harvest (milky/early amber) + clean processing = swollen resin factories bursting with terps, cannabinoids, and that legendary oily shine. Quick Visual Star Rating Guide (Trichome Science You Can See): • 1-2⭐ Tiny bulbous glands (10–30μm) or dusty debris → powdery, weak, immature. Burns harsh. • 3⭐ Capitate-sessile heads (25–100μm) → decent but flat, lower yield, some plant contam. • 4-5⭐ Solid stalked trichomes → good resin but not peak purity. • 6⭐ The Kings – Mature capitate-stalked heads (prime 70–120μm, sweet spot 80–110μm). Massive, shiny, bead-like glands packed in a subcuticular “balloon” of oil. Greasy, resin-beaded texture screams full melt. Zero chunky junk or dust. Melts clean into liquid with aggressive bubbling and rich terps. That greasy, flowing texture you see in the video? Fresh resin flooding from fully swollen secretory cells – the biology behind the magic. Bigger heads = more chemical factories = higher potency and flavor. UV-B stress, careful curing, and true landrace lines crank it to another dimension. This is why 6-star solventless is the current demand: purity, transparency, and that full-melt experience everyone’s hunting in 2026. What star rating would YOU give hash like this? Drop your take below 👇 Have you ever pressed or dabbed something this clean? Share your highest melt story or landrace finds – let’s preserve the wisdom together. #6StarHash #FullMelt #Trichomes #Solventless #DrySift #Landrace #HashScience #ResinHeads #CannabisLegacy

VEO 2 by Google DeepMind : MY CHEAT SHEET Alright, so after 500h-ish spent on VEO and giving birth to both "Kitsune" and "Banished", tons of people asked for a making-of. Instead, I decided to give you what I actually know of VEO 2 to this day. Please share! it's made to be spread around! 1/ If you're not using a LLM (Gemini, ChatGPT, whatever), you're doing it wrong. VEO 2 currently has a sweet spot when it comes to prompt length: too short is poor, too long drops information, action, description etc. I did a lot of back and forth to find my sweet spot, but once I got in a place I thought felt right, I used a LLM to help me keep my structure, length, and help me draft actions. I would then spent an extensive amount of time tweaking, iterating, removing words, changing order, adding others, but the draft would come from a LLM and a conversation I built and trained to understand what my structure looked like, what was a success, or a failure. I would also share the prompts working well for further reference, and sharing the failures also for further reference. This would ensure my LLM conversation became a true companion. 2/ Structure, structure, structure Structure is important. Each recipe is different but same as any GenAI text-to something, it looks like the "higher on the prompt has more weight" rule applies. So, in my case I would start by describing the aesthetics I am looking for, time of day, colors, mood, then move to camera, subject, action, and all the rest. Once again, you might have a different experience but what is important is to stick to whatever structure you have as you move forward. Keeping it organized also makes it easier to edit later. 3/ Only describe what you see in the frame If you have a character you want to keep consistent, but you want a close-up on the face for example, your reflex will be to describe the character from head to toe and then mention you want a close-up...It's not that simple. If I tell VEO I want a face close-up but then proceed to describe the character's feet, the close-up mention will be dropped by VEO... Once again, the LLM can help you in this by giving it the instruction to only describe what is in the frame. 4/ Patience Well, it can get costly to be patient, but even if you repeat the same structure, sometimes changing one word can still throw the entire thing out and totally change the aesthetics of your scene. It is by nature extremely consistent if you conserve most words, but sometimes it happens. In those situations, trace your steps back and try to figure out which words are triggering a larger change. 5/ Documenting When I started "Kitsune" (and did the same for all others), the first thing I did was start a Figjam file so I could save the successful prompts and come back to them for future reference. Why Figjam? So I could also upload 1 to 4 generations from this prompt, and browse through them in the future. 6/ VEO is the Midjourney of video Currently, no text-to-video tool (Minimax being the closest behind) gave me a feeling I could provide strong art directions and actually get them. I have been a designer for nearly 20 years, and art direction to me has been one of the strongest foundations of most of my work. Dark, light, happy, sad, colorful or not, it doesn't matter as long as you have a point of view and please...have a point of view. Recently watched a great video about the slow death of art direction in film (link in comments) and oh boy, did VEO 2 deliver on giving me the feeling I was listened. Try starting your prompts with different kinds of medium (watercolor for example), the mood you are trying to achieve, the kind of lighting you want, the dust in the rays of light, etc... which gets me to the next one 7/ You can direct your colors in VEO It's as simple as mentioning the hues you want to have in the final result, in which quantity, and where. When I direct shots, I am constantly describing colors for two reasons: 1. Well, having a point of view and 2. reaching better consistency through text-to-video. If I have a strong and consistent mood but my character is slightly different because of text-to-video, the impact won't be dramatic because a strong art direction helps a lot with consistency. 8/ Describe your life away Some people asked me how I achieved a good consistency between shots knowing it's only text-to-video and the answer is simple: I describe my characters, their unique traits, their clothing, their haircut, etc..anything which could help someone visually impaired have a very precise mental representation of the subject. 9/ But don't describe too much either... It would be magical if you could stuff 3000 words in the window and have exactly what you asked for, right? Well, it turns out VEO is amazing with its prompt adherence, but there is always a moment where it starts dropping animations or visual elements when your prompt stretches for a tad too long. This actually happens way before the character limit allowed by VEO is reached, so don't overdo it, it's no use and will play against the results. For info, 200-250 words seems like a sweet spot! 10/ Natural movements but... VEO is great with natural movements and this is also one of the reasons why I used it so extensively: people walking don't walk in slow-motion. That being said, don't try to be too ambitious on some of the expected movements: multiple camera movements won't work, full 360 revolutions around a subject won't work, anime-style crazy camera movements won't work, etc... what it can do is already great, but there are still some limitations...
