When the construction work was paused in Delhi, the construction workers were affected, especially the daily wage labourers... Delhi Government has decided that all registered and verified construction labourers will be given Rs 10,000 each as GRAP-3 compensation via DBT. When GRAP-4 is revoked, the number of GRAP-4 days will also be counted, and the registered construction workers will be duly compensated..."

Construction on the world's largest ship tunnel, which will allow some cruise ships to pass through, is set to begin in early 2027. The proposed tunnel will be built in Norway and will be over a mile long, 165 feet high, and 120 feet wide. The Stad Ship Tunnel will cut through solid rock on the Stadlandet Peninsula and allow cargo vessels, ferries, and cruise ships to bypass the Stadhavet Sea, some of the most dangerous waters off Norway's coast. 81% of ship traffic will reportedly be able to use the tunnel. 'AF Gruppen' was recently awarded the contract for the tunnel. The construction cost of the tunnel is expected to be about $900 million. It's unclear exactly how long it will take to complete the tunnel; however, the Coastal Administration previously estimated that construction would take about five years.

Visited the under construction site of Munawar Chowrangi Underpass. Happy to inform that the construction/structural work has been completed & carpeting of the underpass will be carried out after the Juloos of 12th Muharram. After opening the underpass for traffic in July, sidelines will also be reconstructed. The pipe visible inside the underpass is a gas supply line which is also being relocated #KarachiWorks #HamaraShehar
